Embedded Youtube videos seem all sorts of borked

Yep. Chrome. Two different computers. Half of the videos show up as either not existing (white background with the dot dot dot image), and the ones that do show up will not play.

Not sure if it's a problem with PA or with Youtube.

for me in firefox, about half of all videos seem to be failing to load a preview image, and if I mouseover any video the play button lights up but left clicking gets no response.

Little more diagnostic info. I posted this video:

It seems when a Youtube Link has non-Alphanumeric characters the embed function can't parse them.

I couldn't click to play any embedded youtube vids. After logging out and clearing cache and cookies in my browser I am able to play most videos now, but the ones with non-alphanumeric characters in their URLs still sends me to a blank player saying there is an error. Using firefox.

I'm having this same problem with Chrome and IE for YouTube vids with symbols in the video ID.

Had it happen with hyphens as mentioned above.

oh when I said it was fixed for me it was actually only partly fixed, the videos without previews still fail to load, but before even videos with preview images weren't starting. I guess this is the same problem as the one above with videos with dashes in their URL:

So maybe a it's a different, second problem than the one that was seemingly fixed before where no video would load.

The problem seems to be that some youtube videos now have a hyphen in the url and there's an issue with that. Whether it's the forum not being able to handle it or something else I have no idea. But any videos without a hyphen still work.

I'm having the same problem. It either shows a preview picture or a gray box with smaller greay box in it with 3 dots. Neither will actually play video on click

I'm having issues with tweets not embedding. Youtube and instagram work just fine but tweets remain as links. I am on a Windows 8.1 laptop that I just did a fresh install on, using Chrome Version 41.0.2272.89 m.
