I'd be fine with letting embellishments nullify the original call if refs actually called games tightly, which is definitely not the case in the playoffs
There are occasions where a player actually has been tripped and so a penalty should be called but then the tripee does a triple axel and should also be called for embellishment.

Went to my first playoff game last night. And what a game it was. When Saad snapped in the tying goal, the place just fucking exploded. Really amazing how full the UC was through 2nd OT and even into the 3rd. Although a good part of that was standing room tickets filling in.

Pretty glad the Habs didn't score on that powerplay, that was pretty stupid. Then again, Habs don't score on ANY powerplay. I don't know what's up with them but they are more dangerous 5 on 5 than 5 on 4.
