I'm worried that the "What I think is beef" might be the hidden cat for the comic...

Also that is the best menu I've seen in a while :p.

... the cat is obviously in the **** panel, and not part of the food. This isn't ****.

I'm fairly certain this is meant to clear up the meaning/usage of the phrase "mashed potato". As in, "It's not 'mashed potatoES' because there's only one".

It sparked a grammatical debate and everything.

I'm not a nice guy, I just play one in real life.

@CrumplePunch So my only choice is "or death"?

Also, not-so-hidden cat is not so hidden.

Room Temperature cuts makes me laugh EVERY time I read it.

One of the most finely crafter "play on words" type jokes I've seen... Ever.

    But he loves mashed potato!!

If he truly loved the mashed potato he would have fought to be the first in line. :|

It did. And it looks like I just won that debate. :surprised:

Even though I knew we'd see a comic like this, I still love it. "what I think is beef"

The menu also reminds me of the simpsons episode "Kamp Krusty" where they serve Krusty Brand imitation gruel: 9 out of 10 orphans can't tell the difference! hahaha

@Sarge I would agree with you... If twice in the comic they didn't use the term "Mashed Potato" to refer to the dish as a whole :p

But I'm not going to get caught up in this insane debate again...

"Bread sandwich" is an interesting choice of entree when he has two items that could serve as sandwich filling. But maybe he only has three slices of bread, so he figured one bread sandwich would be easier to inventory than 1.5 regular sandwiches.

EDIT: Why on earth is the comment submit button on the comic page invisible? It blends into the background in both firefox and chrome.
