I must say, the support matching changes in QM have been AWESOME. Makes for much more enjoyable games.

I tried out Abathur in the store last night but I couldn't figure out how Monstrosity deep burrow worked. Didn't seem to have any option to use it, even with a hat on.

    Other misc Tychus info:
    - you can retarget Q while it's active. Definitely do this if someone you're Qing dashes out of range
    - if your Q target dies, you'll automatically acquire a new target (nearest, I think) and continue if there's something else in range. If there are no other enemies in range, it'll stop immediately
    - you can use all your other abilities during Q without interrupting it. W to knock them towards/away from you depending on who is chasing whom, E to dash towards/away, and perhaps most importantly Stoneskin and First Aid to keep you alive
    - I find the knockback on the W to be minimal and/or hard to use. I usually just spam it, because it does a ton of damage. If you take Melting Point at 4 (and I usually do), it does triple to minions and structures, which is crazy.

AFAIK when you have the monstrosity hatted, your mount key (Z) will burrow it.

If you took the talent, right?

So far it seems like the "clone a hero" is a better ult than "make a monster" because my monstrosities tend to not live very long, but that's probably just playstyle issues. Fun guy, open to any and all tips on playing him. hint hint.

Clone the hero is dangerous because if you suicide you're giving the other team free xp every time... you need to ult, dump all your dps effectively and flee until the timer runs out (unless suiciding keeps another actual player alive).

The monstrosity is meh until it's farmed it's 30 stacks, so maximising it is all about map awareness and making sure you sneak it away if someone is going for it... once it hits 30 stacks (and if you've gone hat build), it's a beast. I murdered a Jaina the other day because she thought she could take it mid lane in B-bay at level 15 or so... wasn't much left of the monstrosity, but I won a free kill. If you take the tunnel talent at 20 it means you also have global presence with a juiced up siege minion. You can jump anywhere you have vision, which means catching fleeing enemies, split-pushing or playing Defence on demand.

Edit - I forgot to add... people LUV LOVE LUB chasing that monstrosity... if it's attacking a tower or something and someone has come all the way across the map to chase it off, they'll often chase it for ages. This means that if they don't have an effective tool for chasing (like Chen or Thrall do), you can be quick with the mouse and click ahead of the monster to keep moving while shooting stabs back at them... I've had pubs eat half a health bar or more of stabs to the face before they realize they won't catch and kill me without being gutted.... then you wait till their gone and drop back in with a minion wave while they limp back to whatever they were up to lol.

Nothing more satisfying than coming up from the bushes on an out of position Kael'Thas during the initial stages of a big team fight and literally blowing him away with a MS/HA combo just as he's cooking up a Pyroblast.

I also ended up pinging a Stitches player following a match after he clutch grabbed an enemy team's Rehgar during a key push and pulled him behind our gate where we nuked him, and totally pushed the enemy back for the win. Just to let him know how great that play was. That was a thing of beauty, and yet another reason why I enjoy this game so much. That one little play put us from being on our heels following a big enemy comeback to be able to wipe their team during a pivotal fight in order to comeback and win.

Need to start playing some games with folks from PA. Solo QM has been enjoyable, but it would be nice to get back into playing with a semi-organized group again. When do people generally congregate on the PA HOTS chat channel? Hopefully they'll add some type of clan support in the future.

I think if they do another Diablo character it needs to be the Necromancer. Give him a sweet looking spear/bone armor

Q - Bone Spear: Penetrates enemies, maybe a slow
W - Confuse: His CC, target hero turns and swings (all auto attacks) at nearby ally (prioritizing heroes)
E- Corpse Explosion: If target dies explodes dealing AoE damage

R - Golem Summons a golem, starting with a standard Clay Golem at 10, 20 gives you the choice to swap to an Iron Golem which gives large HP/Damage boost
R - Revive: Target ally hero is given a the oppurtunity to instally respawn at location of death with 33% HP, at level 20 can boost to 75 or 100%

His passive is every creep that dies has an X chance to respawn as a skeleton (Max of 5, but talentable up to 10).

Make him somewhat squishy, force his AA to be melee attacks. Gives him a neat support/specialist niche with Revive or his mob groups.

If, if Reagan played disco He'd shoot it to shit You can't disco in Jackboots
