The opening fight and the final stand against Ultron were both incredibly fun sequences with lots of neat cuts to and from different heroes and awesome double techs.
Tony vs. Hulk was awesome.
And everything else was peppered with moments that were cool or funny or both.
the handfighting between cap and batroc and cap and bucky is pretty good; other than that, meh
I also liked how they showed falcon getting pretty much demolished by more experienced dudes; it was nice to not have the quasi-protagonist just immediately turn into a hth expert
it was the smallest on the list but
Pluto was a planet and I'll never forget
the thing that's neat about the fights in winter soldier, from a western cinematography standpoint, is that they use fairly long cuts. There are some places where it looks like they might have cheated a bit, but you have to watch pretty closely and even then they usually stitch two long-ish sequences together.
I'm glad that directors are starting to realize how transparent the whole bourne identity-style of filming fight scenes really is

the supercut in avengers during the manhattan fight is amazing, even though it's obviously a lot of CGI
in AoU I thought the opening was pretty great, and the bit where they're chasing the truck was pretty good. The last fight scene(s) was unfortunately kind of an anticlimax

Yes, the longer shots and less shaky cams are good. But I also love how they portrayed Cap in terms of skills and strength. The opening boat scene is so good, along with the highway fight after Sitwell got tossed out of the car, and the elevator scene.
I don't have a CGI allergy (unless it's realy bad CGI) so I imagine that means I don't have as dour an opinion on superhero action as a lot of people. One of my favorite fights is still Abomination vs Hulk. It might just be because I never got to the point where I was "ewwww, cartoons" so watching action scenes of things that never existed in real life isn't the sightest issue for me, so long as it looks good.
The MCU really needs some better/more threatening villains.
Other than the fact that the fights in Winter Soldier and Daredevil had great choreography was that the heroes were fighting against opponents who were able to stand up against them. The heroes had to struggle, they got tired, they got hurt, there was a real sense that they might lose, and they had to be adaptive and creative to beat the villains. As fun as the fights in Avengers looked, they were pretty much fighting a bunch weak disposable soldiers, and there was never really any sense of danger.

Daredevil sure got his ass kiiiiiiicked.
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
dude got fucked up but kept on coming because he's righteous and angry and Murdochs never go down

One of my favorite things from the winter solider fight is all that shit he does with his knives to move them from his blocked hand to his free hand.

fuck that Winter Soldier scene is good
All the little touches really make it. The arm sound effects. The knife dragging across the van. And yeah, that flying knee. So good!

I just love the fact that he is covered in weapons. Most film characters have two at most but that guy was just a walking arsenal.

Rocket Raccoon & Groot is almost certainly my favorite pairing of characters in all of Marvel

One thing I will say for TWS is that it gave Cap a skill boost that carried over into AoU, so I appreciate that.

And I mean, Daredevil has too many scenes where he kicks people in the face by doing a no hand side flip.
I will never get enough of that shit.

I found it to be underwhelming, but I enjoyed the art and the setting so much that I'll keep reading. I really loved A-Force, but I remember you all had a lot of complaints about it. Years of Future Past was very similarly written and structured, and I imagine that my feelings about it mirror the A-Force opinions around here.

The funny thing about Bourne-style fight scenes is that when you look at the making-ofs, they have good choreography in there which is lost with all the rapid cuts.

I think that flying knee is my single favorite hit in the movie
That and that bit on the boat where he whips the shield into the chest of that dude who was already down

I love that he does the spinning kick, and then does the flying knee
But my favourite single move in the whole movie is probably when he boots that guy off the boat
mostly because I remember seeing that in the theatre and it instantly just set the movie's action tone up beautifully

And then there's all the relatively little things they do to show just how strong Steve really is.
I started reading Immortal Iron Fist before work this morning on Marvel Unlimited.
It's really good, but it has some issues wrt The Iron Fist being The Whitest Dude and also female characters. I need to finish it before I pass final judgement, though.

The first Cap had a couple good bits. The CG fight at the end of Iron Man 2 was OK. And that's about it as far as Marvel movies go.
It wasn't all great, though
That and Daredevil are the only things I can think of in the MCU with standout action
in AoU I thought the opening was pretty great, and the bit where they're chasing the truck was pretty good. The last fight scene(s) was unfortunately kind of an anticlimax

Cap did a flying knee on Bucky! It's mathematically proven that a movie with a flying knee is better than one without.

Yeah, and you can see the Uzi on his back as he walks forward with his rifle.
Then he loses his knife and is all "who the fuck carries just one knife?" And pulls another

You can never have too many knives, my father always used to tell me.

Arthur "Two Knives" Jackson
Like it starts off as a thing I'm very interested in
And then completely veers off into a complete other direction I'm also sort of interested in
And then ends in another, third complete other direction that I'm less interested in

Scorpion, but yes, the dude is almost Liefield levels of kitted out
