That is a bit odd... and with the clarification denied on the conversion ability from the reavers makes me wonder if he isn't worth re-seering. That said, it seems a kinda low possibility. Ardor again for the meta reasons.

Shalmelo being a reaver doesn't make you guys any less harmful to the village. Also, if you go back, I'm the one who first suggested we vote out Shal like 3 days ago.
You are all still planning to retire and take a chunk of villagers + special with you. You are essentially giving the mafia free kills and letting a special abandon the game.
That's real bad IMO and its hardly suspicious that I want to vote out someone on your ship.

I think you are overestimating what kind of collusion we had at the beginning. There really wasn't much. I did what i could to keep my crew alive and luck with the reaver and vig kills obliged me.
After a few days, I realized that we had enough money to retire one of our crew. I revealed my alliance-ness to the captain and we agreed it would be mutual beneficial if i could retire. I would win the game, and it would put the crew a little closer to winning the game. The loser here would be the mafia, a little bit, since i would be abandoning their cause. Kinda crappy of me, but I tried to be sporting with it. I used none of their resources to reach retirement.
Setting up a ship that is amenable to mafia members looking to be bribed, with the resources and ability to do so, is a net win for the village, and the individuals within the mafia. The reavers are the total losers here, because i suspect they cannot be bribed.
This game sort of sets up mixed allegiances and i tried to be even handed, and above the table with everything. I'm pretty sad that not killing my crew resulted in this firestorm. Maybe after the game, since jdark saw everything i did, he would be able to advise me on how to not set space on fire.

But how do we know that no one else on that ship isn't mafia? You are basically asking for none of you to be voted out or targeted by the vig on the hope that the rest of you aren't mafia or reavers.
Even worse, none of you are even willing to look at the possibility of voting for anyone on that ship meaning we won't find out if any of you are mafia.
Why are we not voting for ZH if we know he is mafia...?

Shalmelo being a reaver doesn't make you guys any less harmful to the village. Also, if you go back, I'm the one who first suggested we vote out Shal like 3 days ago.
You are all still planning to retire and take a chunk of villagers + special with you. You are essentially giving the mafia free kills and letting a special abandon the game.
That's real bad IMO and its hardly suspicious that I want to vote out someone on your ship.

I think you are overestimating what kind of collusion we had at the beginning. There really wasn't much. I did what i could to keep my crew alive and luck with the reaver and vig kills obliged me.
After a few days, I realized that we had enough money to retire one of our crew. I revealed my alliance-ness to the captain and we agreed it would be mutual beneficial if i could retire. I would win the game, and it would put the crew a little closer to winning the game. The loser here would be the mafia, a little bit, since i would be abandoning their cause. Kinda crappy of me, but I tried to be sporting with it. I used none of their resources to reach retirement.
Setting up a ship that is amenable to mafia members looking to be bribed, with the resources and ability to do so, is a net win for the village, and the individuals within the mafia. The reavers are the total losers here, because i suspect they cannot be bribed.
This game sort of sets up mixed allegiances and i tried to be even handed, and above the table with everything. I'm pretty sad that not killing my crew resulted in this firestorm. Maybe after the game, since jdark saw everything i did, he would be able to advise me on how to not set space on fire.

Which comes first in OoO, retiring or the vote?
There is confusion from all this. The Starwhal crew wanted to ensure that we all made it to the end. We can't all retire, there's not enogh money. So instead, we're letting our mafia friend retire. The rest of the crew is going stay in the game and help the village.
But how do we know that no one else on that ship isn't mafia? You are basically asking for none of you to be voted out or targeted by the vig on the hope that the rest of you aren't mafia or reavers.
Even worse, none of you are even willing to look at the possibility of voting for anyone on that ship meaning we won't find out if any of you are mafia.
Why are we not voting for ZH if we know he is mafia...?

We've got enough money for you to retire. You don't have to all come at once if you don't trust me. I know I wouldn't. Just test it out with one or two. We'll get you retired tonight and then can continue that pattern until we've all won the game.
I am leaving the game anyways. It would be a waste of resources to use the vote on me.
