Guys, I think I'm in love with this girl

and the only thing stopping me from actually saying it is because maybe I should wait until I've seen her in person more than twice

but yeah. We've been talking pretty constantly since our date Sunday and it's like we share the same brain. In fact, she thinks OKC was just an elaborate experiment to mould our brains together.

    It feels ridiculously good

I have another GRE tutoring session with the attractive guy tomorrow.

Yesterday I looked him up online hoping that he was married, or gay or something I could use as a reason to not get distracted during the session. (I need to do well on this test, okay?)

Instead I found out he's studied the Renaissance, and writes well-recieved Kindle books when he's not tutoring.

    Drat.

Bro button. People tell me that I look sad, and some of them even insist that I am sad when I tell them I'm not. It's frustrating.

I haven't checked. I could find out fairly easily, but I'd feel creepy. Browsing a guy's Linkedin page is one thing. Hunting down the books he hasn't discussed writing, and reading them is another.

I hope he writes under a pen name. Then you find out the pen name and read his books and when you're talking mention you just started reading a series of books and the author is sooo talented and speaks to your heart and if he were in the room you'd totes makes out with him.

And then give him a card that says "I think you're GREat"

And then we make the whole thing into a movie. Quick, people, we need titles!

    Bah.

Went swing dancing last night with my meetup group (I do it occasionally and gotten to a non embarassing level of competence) and had fun and all but damn, if I didn't leave feeling kinda down.

Danced with a bunch of a cute women, tried my best to be engaging and apart from the dance didn't make any connections/interest.

Rationally I understand there's tons of variables and what not, but damn if it's dissapointing/frustrating feeling like I'm constantly putting myself out there and doing everything people say you should do and not getting anywhere.

Went on date. Had good time. Didn't stick the landing. Feel like I'm unintentionally pushing away good ladies. Oh well, rejection is part of the deal. But I'm kinda thinking this is a lot of energy and time to expend for a conversation. Need to up my date game perhaps. Do I need to learn how to dance or some shit? Nah, humans aren't worth the effort.

All right, this lady just asked for date number two, to my surprise.Take note humanists and optimists, this misanthrope gets Hell of dates!

Heh, and you thought you were hot shit with your dancin' and your ideals and hopes for humanity.

Okay, date today went well overall!

Had a couple of hitches. The florist I was going to in the morning turned out to be open later than their website told me (boo hiss) but I'll get him flowers another day. There was a... Bit of a complication later that's a bit personal but we worked through it okay.

Ended up both being way too tired this afternoon to feel like going out for dinner so we've rain checked that.

But breakfast went across great, he loves the botanic gardens and had fun showing me around them, and the cat cafe was excellent indeed. Lots of laughing and smiling out in public.
