Virgil Runnels, aka Dusty Rhodes, aka the American Dream, the son of a plummer, passed away on Thursday at the age of 69. Dusty was a legend in wrestling both in and out of the ring.

I cannot do justice to all the wonderful tributes and stories that have come out since then, but I will highlight the two I think most people liked best.



And Grantland's eulogy/mythology of Dusty.

There is a PPV this Sunday, Money in the Bank. I think it will be a great show. There will absolutely be a Dusty tribute before it.

    Finally ordered the Chikara 12 Large Summit comp set. It just seemed like a better purchase than getting the recent shows, increased quality of this season aside.

    I might also order the 2007, 8, and 9 KoT events in the coming weeks and months.

    That was insane and hilarious and oh my god ACH was there and oh man it was so good I am freaking out

    I will be at all their shows from here out. just so much fun. I will also be super easy to find on that DVD haha

    So the season 3 of Tough Enough is up and I've been watching it after work. I know they highlight him alot in it, but it really does seem like Al Snow is a really good trainer.

    I moved back to LA and I have been crazy busy and have missed all of wrestling.

    It is very sad to see Dusty has passed. He seemed great and it was nice and heartwrenching to read the tributes.

    In other news, I am staying with a friend who just happens to have the El Rey network.

    In addition to some great movies they also carry Lucha Underground. I have since watched a lot of Lucha Underground. It is pretty great and I really really look forward to watching more.

    You may ask yourself why should I be allowed into the money in the bank competition. The easiest answer is this, trust in our commissioner Nyra. Nyra saw that I was no longer average, I was ABOVE average.

    He sawy potential at the top and allowed me to forge my own path into greatness.

    Now I now that my injury has sidelined me from the Pickems for sometime, but after my recovery from my broken thumb I am once more able to dedicate my fingers full time to the pick ems.
