Can the crystal gems please go in there and destroy all the injectors before someone comes along later and finds a way to turn them back on. This is the second time Peridot has used that place.
I am going to facepalm so hard if one of the season finales is some homeworld gems come back and turn the place back on.
I know they have destroyed the power core already, but that is obviously not enough.
I'm glad we're sticking to the bit where Peridot is a complete non-entity in a fight. A villain who just sprints off in a blind panic the instant the heroes show up is amusing to me.
After that last stunt, I'm going to start calling her Inspector Gadget.
We know that gems don't age and that their bodies are projections. Steven is half-human, but mostly that seems to mean that his body has to follow human biology rules and that he has to eat, breathe, and sleep. But he can still do the things a gem can do that alter his body, like fuse and shapeshift.
To me that means that his body is just as much as an illusion as the other gems, just that his form has harder biology rules to it. So if his gem makes him an old man, his heart still has to work harder due to being 'older' and he could die. But Given that he has control over what his form is, I don't see why he would naturally age
Assuming he ages like a normal boy is just as much of an assumption as him not doing so
we really don't know either way, I just think its a fun theory

Did Anyone else expect her to like smack into a cliff or hit her head when she did that Helicopter thing?

thoughts about we need to talk
I was honestly expecting this to be the episode where we see all three gems fuse with rose each in their turn. still, not so bad, though I am not liking envious pearl a whole lot. makes me wonder if we'll see an episode that deals with the gems reacting to steven close to his birth, and what pearl's initial reaction to him might have been
I can't get over how young the gems sound/act. For beings that have lived 1000's of years, they must have had to really grow up fast once Rose was gone.

Also the new intro, not sure, the tempo and beat feels kind of jarring? The techno and just
I don't know, something feels off.
Same voice actor
He's just actually a teenager and these things happen
However, the old theme grew on me and became a favorite so I'm hoping this one does too.

She seriously needs a hobby.
That scene, underground, is amazingly well done.
I have never been so gripped, emotionally, by this show before.
I couldn't really phrase it well before, because I was caught up in it and it really shook me up.
It still shook me up to watch it again.

The opening scene also reinforces Greg's "Coolest Dad" status.
Orange Magic Orchestra. Teehee.
I get that one, but who is "Philosophy Majors" a reference to?
Garnet unironically playing fetch with her.
