was Destiny cheaper in Europe or something because the interviewer keeps saying that the taken king is "the same price as the base game" which.. no it's not.

Destiny got pretty widespread price cuts down to $40 or less fairly quickly. Maybe they are referring to that?

$40 is definitely not 40 euros, tho
Look no one cares about your made up money. We'll use USD prices and you'll like it!

Cause man I would've avoided alllllllllll of this if I just got it digitally, now that there's preloading
I can say "but I wanna save hard drive space!" but it still installs 50 gigs if you've got the disk anyway
The only reasons to not buy digital is if you care about used games, don't mind waiting a day or two, or have internet issues (but with these patches...)
I got batman on pc and given how hitchy it's being I'm kinda regretting it
My computer blows the recommended specs out of the water but no matter how far I turn the graphics down the game hitches and hiccups every once in a while

Out in 8 hours
A lot like Arkham Days
Steam Switch FC: 2799-7909-4852
Not out til tomorrow but reviews are very positive, although there are hella mixed feelings on the Batmobile stuff
Although "defends" should probably be in quotes.
Oh well ohwellohwell

PSN- AHermano

Although saying this I think people are jumping the gun massively in complaining about the price of an expansion they don't know the full contents of
PSN- AHermano
Yeah that's the real issue
PSN- AHermano
Last I checked we do. We know how many strikes, maps, raids, missions and such come with TTK due to that leaked pic long ago. Here it is:
12 Story missions
4 Strikes
1 Raid,
1 Patrol Area
6 PvP Maps
1 New subclasses per class
2 new weapon types
Base game had:
19 Story missions
5 Strikes
1 Raid
4 Patrol Areas
8 PVP maps
2 subclasses per class
9 Weapon types
PSN- AHermano
8 Story Missions
2 Strikes
1 Raid
1 Arena (Poe)
1 Social Area (Reef)
6 PVP maps
1 Weapon Type (sidearms)
Sooo, now I feel better about TTKs price but feel bad about the Season Pass.
Well, that does seem pretty weird to me then, if a 60 dollar new game costs 45 euros there but a 40 dollar DLC also costs 40 euros

Yeah uh
Even though that interview is with a Bungie development lead, I'm pretty sure he's not the one making these kinds of pricing decisions
And he's probably not in a position to pass the buck to Activision, either
Either way it's a pretty good deal for the U.S. but that definitely sucks about the European pricing
The exclusive stuff is shitty anyway you slice it

Apparently I'm in charge of EU releases
It's nice to play Arkham Knight, looking as good as it does, running at a consistent framerate
Cause PSN's wonderful download speeds tell me it's going to be 13 hours until it's done
I wonder if PSN's just chugging right now due to people downloading that patch
I downloaded the whole game, all the DLC and the day one update yesterday in less than two hours
My internet is capable but it ain't blazing
It says 15 hours now
I downloaded the entirety of Witcher 3 in about an hour and a half
sometimes they balla, sometimes they holla
Because otherwise the game freezes in an early cutscene
So I guess I'm not going to get to play this tonight
Download that patch
I was supposed to lose all my installed stuff, but I didn't
DOWNLOAD THAT PATCH
And this is why you always download patches
Cause man I would've avoided alllllllllll of this if I just got it digitally, now that there's preloading

they're basically just keys to unlock the game door at this point

Digital future!
