Yeah, Battlebots is now airing on ABC at certain times.
It is insane that it is on a network show. Jon Stewart used to make fun of it all the time back in the day.

I don't see how anyone liked Battlebots. It sounded cool on paper but ended up being dumb as fuck and super cheesy. Not the fun kind of cheesy either, but the sad and pathetic kind.

Well, yeah. Half the time the shit just broke and wouldn't work. And the 'hazards' were a joke unless they either A: flipped the bot or B: crushed the bot.
There was one that had a piston on its back to right itself, and another that was designed to work up or down.
The dumbest one by far was in the heavyweight division. It was literally a Pizza-Cutter spinning on wheels. It went down in one hit.

So one of the fights from the premiere last night had a robot with 2 mini-drones that contain flamethrowers fighting a weird "walking" bot with a very powerful vertical spinner. One of the minis gets under the other one and starts blazing it, and the spinner one manages to wallop the minibot, causing a big fireball and fucking shrapnel everywhere.
Is she being mind controlled or possessed? If so she loses her edge, Meghan's strength lies in her keen intellect and unpredictability.
Why are we fighting? Does she have a noble cause? If so she has the edge cause I know I don't have a noble cause for fighting Meghan Trainor
