    Alright so those badges ... I can safely assume that any badges I have NOW will be immediately transferrable over, right? Or are there super badges that will be required instead that only drop in ZA?

    I've got 18 on me, so there is WORK to be done.

    After seeing the new heroic badge items, I think I may hold off on getting the Belt of Natural Power crafted (which would also put me out 1400g ~_~). The Waistguard of the Great Beast isn't quite as good, though.

    Time to save up on badges. -_-

    On a Druid related question as my only alt is my level 40 Druid, should I drop Skin / LW for Herb / Alch? If I go Resto or Boomkin the Alch trinket looks very nice tbh and it seems more usefull a prof.

    It's actually a pretty nice cat dps trinket as well, coming to 54 cat ap (after the new hotw) and like .7% crit, along with the int/sta.

    Copied my druid over to PTR last night to see how the changes would affect my current stats. Gained an impressive 300AP putting me over 3.1k. Changes get a :^: from me.

    Too bad I don't have time to raid anymore and have pretty much decided not to renew my account when it expires in December.

    Damn. I am the current main tank for Morogrim Tidewalker, but the fucker keeps killing me with crazy ass crushing sprees a couple of minutes into the fight.

    It's hard to tell without looking at the bear form stats.

    I had 29961 Armor, 12,974 health, and 32.94 dodge and that was absolutely not enough for me. I think my armor was fine, but I'd probably have needed 15k health(This is all self-buffed) and maybe slightly more dodge.

    Your gear looks fine, almost the same as I tank him in. If I were you I would replace Moroes's trinket with a stamina one (Violet Badge/Spyglass) and your boots with Heavy Clefthoof, personally I favor stacking stamina and armor over avoidance for this one.

    My tanking stats for Morogrim hover around 33k-34k armor, 20,5k hp and 37% dodge. These allow me to tank him fine, even with a few crushings for 12k-15k burst damage.

    I'm already at cap, so clefthoof are out. Might be an idea about the trinket though, with the healing I get moroes trinket hardly ever matters. I'll demand a shaman next time to make up for the difference in dodge.

    So the latest UI news is that in the next version of 2.3 all forms (shapeshifts, stealth, and shadowform) will be put on a system much like the autodismount system, where using a spell that form cannot use will shift you to the proper form. This means that shifting from bear to cat by hitting the cat button will be built in.

    I just tested the following macro on the PTR (which has been updated with those stance changes):

    /cancelform
    /use Potion
    /use Healthstone
    /cast Dire Bear Form

    and if you use it while in bear form, according to the combat log you never leave bear

    I had two points left in my feral build and put them into intensity. I wonder if that was a good idea, maybe I should've put them in primal tenacy.. ?

    Since there's a global cooldown for using pots/stones, I would expect only one.

    It uses both, there is no global cooldown between Pots/Stones.

    Edit with picture proof:
    wowscrnshot102007121142dd0.png

    First: I fell from the top of the Org tower in my healing gear, then switched to my feral gear to get a huge health discrepancy. Then I show off directly changing forms to forms for a bit before doing the potion macro, which you can see by the yellow lines. I hit the macro twice (second time a minute after the first) and I didn't have enough mana to go back into bear so it just left me in human form. My intent was to show that if you have full health or one/both of the items are on cooldown you do actually leave bear form for a split second before returning to it. Now I just need to test this with a hard hitting mob or something (like the trees in Skettis) to see if they can get a hit in edgewise.

    Bumpage...and a question!

    I play a 70 Boomkin that hasnt had much of a chance to grind rep etc. as of yet. Although I do have a few ok blues from instancing as I leveled, I'm almost 100% postive I'm not ready for Heroics or Kara/ZA *drools thinking about balance leather*.

    What I would like to know from the wise sages of this thread are the best upgrades I can get to make me ready for said Heroics etc. Now I know people usually post a nice convenient link to their armory page, but seeing as the internet I use blocks "fun" I'm SOL on that. My Druid is Treelicker of Korgath. Yes, I know the greens will be the first to go, but a nice suggestion of what I should shoot for before diving in would be nice.

    Granted, I won't be able to act on this advice to a great extent soon. *doubts his fiance' will want him playing alot of WoW on their honeymoon* For you see dear fellow druids, I am one of those poor souls whose love of gaming, and the fact that they are deployed to Iraq seem to conflict.

    I'll end this massive wall of bumpage with another question. If by chance I have ample time to play WoW, I would like to get my fiance' something nice for her Rogue. Sumi of Korgath for you hardcore "lets see what she really needs" people.

    Has been a blast reading all 100 pages of this thread and I don't want to see it die anytime soon.

    First thing you need as Balance is to get the spell hit cap (16% including talents and gear). Spell damage is behind that in priority, then spell crit.

    It's 4:30 am right now, so pardon that basic explanation.

    It's an overall growth, I think largely because it improves rogue gear for us, and gives a substantial boost to our AP from weapons (which is itself getting buffed a bit). So the more rogue gear you're wearing, the better, in general.

    It's a very good growth in AP in general, making agility an even better stat

    Straight up with HoW (1x1.10)
    Str = 2.2AP
    Agi = 1.1AP
    AP = 1.1AP

    or with HoW and SotF ((1x1.10)x1.03)
    Str = 2.266
    Agi = 1.133

    or raid buffed with HoW and SotF
    Str = 2.49AP
    Agi = 1.25AP

    Dear Karazhan,

    I love you very very much. I think you are a fun instance, with many great bosses. I enjoy running you a lot.

    But why do you feel you should hurt me so by being so very bleed immune? I like bleed, it keeps me from bottoming out on the dips charts because I can Rip you.

    Love,

    Serious content: Feral Druid DPS. Here's a WWS, I'm Haze. On Rippable bosses I do well for my gear level on the DPS charts (top on Aran woop), but when they're not I bottom out very very badly (Netherspite particularly). I tried to compensate by Ferocious Biting at 5 points and just enough energy, but obviously that didn't help a lot. Should I be biting at full energy? Not biting at all? Oh god help

    You definitely can't go by Netherspite DPS as any sort of reasonable measure. If you're not getting the blue beam, your dps is just going to suck compared to the people who do get it (though what's up with Sandalphon in your WWS? There's no way he should let a hunter pass him on DPS on Netherspite). And, looking at the WWS, it looks like you really could stand to up your hit rating, that'll boost your dps by a good deal right there. I'm not sure how much exactly you need as a feral druid, but your ~8% miss rate makes me think it's the same as people single wielding weapons. Also, from what I understand, feral DPS is utterly reliant on the 2-set Tier 4 bonus, which could explain things if you don't have it.
