MEANWHILE AT THE HALL OF JUSTICE FEATURELESS VOID BETWEEN WORLDS
“It doth not suyt a Sum’nr of Devyls to speak on their Propertys, as those godsblood Fools who speak them into beyng must by varyos Means know their Nature as the Back of their Hand. But here I shall make a vayn Attempt for those who doth possess Wyts markedly Thin and Tyme markedly Lyttle, and thereon elaborate wythyn thys Tome.
Let us begyn symply:
Fyrst, the Pallyd, also known as the order Cacodaemonya. The weakest of Devyls and, yea, the most numerous as well. The Pallyd Devyl posseseth a Body most fyne but he also possesseth a weak Intellect. Hys form doth resemble an Insect or other such crawylng thyng, hys Blood ardent, hys Mask whyte or fayntly yellow. He is most suytable for Tasks menyal and of low complexyty. He feedeth on Blood and Livestock. Great Care must be taken for he is bydden to count any Item whatsover strewn before hym with a passyon most confoundyng.”

I havent read it in a few months either :<, but I'm saving it for a big binge read just soon. Namesake's a hella fine crumblic!
No I am, I just have no idea what's going on anymore. I got into it because the whole idea of going into stories and having Writers as holding reality bending powers is extremely similar to a novel-verse I've long been working on, but now it's gone into a strange direction and I can no longer distinguish what's happening.
Well, he is, quite literally in that universe, Japanese Superman.
spoiling this just in case but it's already been covered, but probably overlooked.
The same kid that Saitama saved for no reason before he was the OPM was the kid of the multi-billionare dude who STARTED the hero's foundation organization thing, to honor Saitama's example.
Underneath the apathy he's gained after getting so powerful he can oneshot near anything he's Clark Kent with a delicious Steve Rogers filling.

I pointed it out when Genos exposited about it before, but that was a while ago.
I like to try to point some of that stuff out, at least.
Bullshit that smartphone GPS would be able to keep up with that kind of aerial speed. Mine gets confused at freeway speeds sometimes and tells me to take a right after the turn's passed.

I'd imagine that when you're flying you don't need much more information than what direction you need to move in. Especially with something like a dam where it's pretty visible.
Not like you'd need to worry about missing an exit, so much as dodging the occasional airplane and I doubt that GPS is too helpful with the latter.
That picture on the keyboard, combined with the history behind Allison's BSOD right before cleaver attacked and Mega Girl is suddenly getting a lot more interesting.

Depending on various factors she may need to dodge a number of airplanes, especially if there's a military base nearby. Actually I wonder what the logistics of air traffic would entail when you add in supers to the mix. Maybe they're all supposed to carry a radio with them to communicate with a control tower?
It does feel like OPM changes from just wanting to be a gag manga into one that's a genuine superhero story. Especially with the next couple of arcs we've got coming up, and all the other heroes who're about to be introduced.
Especially the whole justice league question of what's the point of the league when you have superman (and this superman doesn't even have a kryptonite). OPM seems to have an interesting take on it, which it's already started with this last arc and it'll keep exploring.
A trap is for fish: when you've got the fish, you can forget the trap. A snare is for rabbits: when you've got the rabbit, you can forget the snare. Words are for meaning: when you've got the meaning, you can forget the words.

it seems to me they're just barflies
pretty sure they're devils, all of them being masked
I don't think we've actually seen a demon proper so far
