I never saw the marketing for it, but I don't know how you could either be old enough to not have some familiarity with it or young enough where the marketing of what happens in the story wouldn't ruin a lot of its importance.
oh no no no, the marketing for that movie makes it look like Transformers crossed with Narnia, it's super misleading.

You could read it in an hour at this age. It's pretty neat! I think they made a movie out of it? Which I do not understand at all because the thing is like 75 pages double spaced, and half of what makes the book work is that it's written in first person perspective.

Also when doing right, a sex scene can add a lot of passion and excitement to a movie, it can make it more emotionally engaging as the intimacy of the characters is displayed so powerfully to the viewer.
