There's also the fact that while the focus is now on Supergirl/Wondergirl, they haven't actually been even adequately written in what seems to be a very long time(including the damn mini). Also, the current arc is kind of aggravating, because the Tomorrow Titans also mostly piss me off, especially since they are all basically being written as idiots as well.

You know, this goes for Wonder Woman too, after seeing the Amazon armor Pete Woods designed for Amazons Attack, I'd love to see Wonder Girl in something similar. Kind of like the armor Herc gave her in issue #2 of her mini (from the waist up at least)

I do like the armor, but I like it as a special occasion thing. It's too "warrior" for such "public eye" heroes.

Titans has been so bad recently guys.

Fuck that whole Supergirl and Cassie are best friends thing.

I hate DC for that. It'd be awesome to have an issue where Cassie finds an old cell phone or something and it's all messages from Cisse like

"Why haven't you called in a while? Want to talk soon! Luv Cis"

"Oh my god Connor. I'm so sorry Cassie"

"Why haven't you responded to me? I knew connor too, we need to talk"

"God fuck you, you stupid idiotic cunt"

Another problem is that I didn't like Titans Tomorrow the first time, and it disturbs me that basically nothing has changed, even armed with knowledge of a grimmer future. Of course, it's not like anyone did anything in particular to stop it.

I got so into this "Wonder Girl's costume" discussion that I e-mailed my good friend Alex Ross and asked him to design a new one for her. Wow, he was quick with a response! I figured someone of his talent would take a lot longer.
    Alex Ross wrote:
    Dear Keith,

Thanks for the e-mail. How is your beagle doing? I'm thinking of getting one soon. As for your request for a redesign of the current Wonder Girl's costume, it's something I've been playing around with in my head for a while. Coincidentally, I just settled on a design earlier this week! I was aiming for something iconic, something that sums up the character. I think I came up with the perfect design. What do you think?

Regarding how the team doesn't 'flow' anymore, I think a lot of the characters have actually grown on me. I like Ravager a lot, even though I know she gets a lot of flak for being the loose bad girl character. And on a team where almost everyone else is kind of a goody-two-shoes, I think she's sort of necessary. I think the way she interacts with Kid Devil is also fun.

And Miss Martian... what needs to be said about her? She's adorable and fun and I like her.

I will agree that I don't really like the focus on Tim and Cassie. I especially don't like the focus on their relationship, since it doesn't seem like much of a relationship to begin with.

I worry that whenever they come out with that book that's supposed to be comprised of a lot of the old New Teen Titans, it's going to kill this book. I like that they're using a new team instead of just riding the coattails of New Teen Titans' renewed popularity from the cartoon.

Titans was supposed to start in December, but alas, we've got January solicits and there's nothing yet.

And Titans will not kill Teen Titans. Unless Winick shocks everyone with an incredible story, which, let's face it, has a low chance of happening (though I do believe it's possible), it'll just carry on from what he did with The Outsiders. Generally lackluster with lots of unnecessary fucking.

It's not that I don't enjoy the new characters, because they're awesome, really. It's that they're in the background while the popular characters (Robin, Wonder Girl, Supergirl) are the main focus. I like when team books focus on the lesser-known characters, especially when the popular ones have their own books.

Plus, all of the Titans from John's run are all knock-offs of adult heroes. That can be neat sometimes, but not when there's not a single unique character.

Hmm... I haven't really noticed Supergirl as a focus. Actually, I barely notice her at all on the team. I think that Robin and Cassie are the focus just because of some unresolved issues... but the moment Ravager and Eddie do it, I think the focus may change a bit.

Sadness. Regardless, I actually really liked the Titan's Tomorrow story line... I thought it was done well and at least SLIGHTLY plausable. I mean, they kept alluding to how "dark" the world got after the Crisis, and how they had to change... so I was like, well, if it's that bad, it makes sense.

Then the crisis happened and I was like... hmm... that really wasn't that bad. I mean, maybe it explains Conner a bit... but Tim? Not so much. Still, I'm willing to give it a chance, since it's Teen Titans and I'm not about to stop buying it...

I'm tired of dark, dystopian futures where standard super-heroics escalate to full scale wars. I'd rather have seen examples of how the Titans would look if some of them chose to maintain their private identities, or even dedicate themselves to them full-time. Even Superman wanted a career, so why not the rest of them?

Instead we get kids who've lost half of their identities and, as was said before, become idiots. I mean, no reasonable person wants to live in a police state.

Well, I might be the minority here, but I'd rather read about someone fighting to change their future so it's not so dark and dystopian, rather than read a story about Tim Drake working on the Pensky file while Cassandra Sandsmark wonders if she should go with the store brand olives, or splurge and buy the name brand...just this once.

That's like saying you don't want to see the cast acting like normal kids because you think watching someone popping their zits and doing math homework is boring. Meanwhile, didn't we like Young Justice because it balanced their civilian lives and interpersonal relationships with standard superheroics? That's right, you can write about normal lives without focusing on the mundane.

And if the best future you can imagine for someone like Tim Drake, a kid who has the resources and natural ability to excel at anything (except tennis) is a normal 9 to 5, then that's a failure of your imagination rather than proof that the concept itself is flawed. Tim's desire to be something other than Batman has been evident for a while now, and personally I'd much rather see what the natural conclusion of that is (a unique superhero identity, humanitarian work, becoming head of a civilian crime-fighting organization, politics, developing a personal life in response to Bruce neglecting his own) than be subjected to the idea that Tim is so tied to the path of Batman that he has to resort to shooting himself in the head just to dislodge himself from it.
