Gilbert Gottfried was on Howard Stern this morning. Good laughs this morning.
He can be amusing, sometimes.
I enjoyed his appearances on Howard Stern back on terrestrial radio.
And he was excellent in the Aristocrats.
But god most of the movies he's been in have been painful.
You take that back, Problem Child 2 was amazing.
And, uhh, I guess Aladdin is alright.
I said most, not all :P
I really am not familiar with his entire movie career (didn't realize he had one beyond what lost mentioned) but generally even good stand up comics don't fair well on the big screen.
That movie sucked hard enough to fellate an Airbus.
Wow! I can't imagine that a person would actually look so deeply into the movie and get that out it. The movie really wasn't that focused and making any sort of point you think it did.

The movie is indeed retarded but still a riot.
I didn't look into it terribly deeply. I don't know that I've ever taken a good deep look at any movie. That's what I got off the top.
Now, I will say the tea scene was grade A. But when one of the Golden Girls is your movie's only hope? It's time to start over.
Edit: I don't really think that they were trying to make a point of anything that I said, just that those were the themes that stood out the most when I saw it and about all that stuck with me. That, and stoned grandmas can be totally funny.

Then it's hard for me to understand why you wouldn't enjoy it since the whole movie is chocked full of scenes like that one. Nick Swardson had a number of great lines.
Also, there weren't any golden girls in that movie. You better brush up you knowledge of senior citizen TV actresses, mister!

Oops. Doris Roberts and Betty White are, in fact, different people. Now I feel bad, because I was overly harsh on Mrs. Roberts. No one should be called a Golden Girl unduly.
I may give it another watch someday, but for some reason all the crap is what I remember and very little of the funny.

I have so little respect for him that I don't even know how to spell his name
Are you referring to Al Murray, the 'Pub Landlord'??? I think a lot of his comedy is lost on anyone not English (being Welsh I think he's a bit shit, but quite funny since the people he's taking the piss out of have no idea he's taking the piss out of them and think he is being serious)
no I mean Allan Murray, the guy who has to give away tickets for his show at the laugh factory because no one will buy them
I mean Allan Murray the worst comic I have ever seen

Not enough people watched the show, and it seems less know about their comedy...

That shell of a human being you see as Eddie Murphy today is not the Eddie Murphy I grew up with.
