Are you joking that Seventeen should have been named "Fifteen"? She has 15 drawn siblings and possibly one in the well. Worst case, you would joke to call her "Sixteen."

Here's how I see it.

It wasn't a miscarriage or a stillbirth. These kinds of people? They don't name a kid until they have to, so they've got about a year until 'the baby' stops working. In that time, Seventeen is conceived and on the way when her immediate predecessor dies of whatever shakes and/or shatters your soul the least.

Given that our loving, precocious, and precious little girl doesn't have any younger siblings, her parents gave her a number, an uncaring fact, and stopped giving whatever damns they had left.

I've never felt compelled to start a fund for a fictional character's eventual therapy sessions...

Just wanted to point out that while there are only 15 siblings, Tom 2 seems to be looking behind him at the well... It is my theory that he likely threw the first Tom down it. Just seems to fit with how it is drawn to me.

So I counted and Seventeen is actually the 16th person shown. Is there a missing sibling? Or is it because counting wasn't her parents' forte? That or the child is swimming in the ominous well.

Also, Flora looks like a teenage version of what I would expect Seventeen to look like.

Brady looks like so many kids I knew growing up. Even growing up in Hicksville, I found rattails to be redneck.

As they've previously posted they're having to work on some other things and are kind enough to provide content on normal comic days until they are able to do full comics again.

They have no obligation to do these updates at all, and I'm sure the vast majority of us appreciate them. I'd certainly rather see this than nothing.
