A fresh-out-of-college Gov teacher. The guy'd only been teaching for two years, but he knew his shit and knew how to teach outside of the curriculum.
The worst high school teachers were:
My spanish 2 teacher. Absolute opposite of the above; plain, boring, and not a particularly good teacher. She had one class of spanish, and did Gym otherwise. Not a lesbian, though, oddly enough. Totally expected her to be.
English 2 teacher. Dude was a part of the Apartheid government in South Africa, "moved" to the U.S. after that fell apart. Also, he was gay. Not that I held that against him, or anything. Dude was way too push with his views, though.

The best teacher I ever had sold his insurance business where he was pulling in six figures to become a teacher because it seemed like the right thing to do. Guy knew his shit, and had the life experience to back it up.

Similar to my physics teacher who also kicked ass. I forget his position, but he was raking in the cash with PECO and gave it up to teach. The guy knew his shit and made the classes/labs really fun.

He is essentially me, but older. We have the same mannerisms, look the same, and talk the same. Everyone who has his class and knows me, <i>everyone</i>, comments on how we must be clones or something.
It's creepy as hell, and I'm going as him for halloween (Which requires me to just shave part of my beard and wear glasses).
