    I'm reminded of the movie Idiocracy
    "If you put water on plants, they'll grow"
    "finally he gave up and told everyone he could speak to plants, and that they said they like water"

    I bought a plant today! Not grass though....it was an impet, er...an impatiens (crap name for a plant if you ask me).

    I will monitor its behavior carefully.

    Water? Like out of the toilet?

    Try Brawndo the thirst mutilator. It has the electrolytes plants crave.

    Why is Malachi so dumb? Of course plants like water. I bet he was teased because he was STUPID...

    SCIENCE! Been following this comic since Strip Search, and have loved each one - just signed up for an account today because I have to get in on the Camp Comic appreciation, out loud. As much as I love today's comic, and find it a welcome change of pace from the recent intensity (also good - but again, nice to mix it up), I really wanted to comment on the animated header on the home page - how awesome is that pic? Seventeen riding Brian like a raft? Love it.

    I know lots of people say they don't like Malachi because he is egotistical and insecure and lies, but that's why I like him. He is a kid. He is doing his best to get by in ways he knows how. While we can look down on his words and actions as experienced adults, I'm sure most people can relate to acting like him at some point in their lives. In some ways he reminds me of Calvin, and I think that is a good thing.

    I'm way too amused by "more research needed."

    The artwork in these comics keeps getting better and better. This seriously needs to be made into an animated tv series.

    @THEAD

    Mythbusters is to science as tinker toys are to skyscraper construction.

    Registered my daughter for summer camp just yesterday. Do I introduce her to this comic before she goes or after she comes back?

  • AdamRWAdamRW Registered User regular
    Just don't pick her back up. That way she gets the full Camp Weedonwantcha experience.

    As dabbling in the former will increase the desire to make a career of the latter, right?
