Okay I'm pretty sure war is one of them. I'm leaning toward pin as the second since that's how you win a wrestling match. The third could be a lot of things and I honestly think it's something obvious I'm just missing.
Maybe deck, since decks are used in games?

Cloak is the only one I can see having absolutely no relation atm...
I think he is keeping us away from underground stuff, so he can say something water related so we get stream and water, or like transit so we avoid sub(way).
I think we should interpret his next clue as "blank - not underground "

If spooky instead of scary, creepy etc. is significant I'm thinking Halloween, ie. pumpkin.
In general I'd say web and cloak. Hospital is a runner up. And for a dark horse Aztec though I suppose that's more scary than spooky.
