Been thinking about running a long-distance D&D game with forum folks

The idea has been around for a while, we also played D&D during ÉirePAX

Well a UK specific game would work better than an international one because time zones = fuckers for RPGs

Time zones are the reason why I'm asking here!

I am in the UK and would play D&D maybe, but I don't have any of the books or anything.

I'd be interested in some pnp rpg euro action. We're you thinking a Skype, map tools or a play by post affair?

Also I know 3.0, 3.5 and pathfinder very well but interested in the newer systems more.

I have literally never played D&D ever, but it's a thing I am interested in thanks to things like Acquisitions Inc and Adventure Zone. (And NWN2)

TL;DR Manchester. Alcohol. Probably boardgames/cardgames. Fun. Socialising. In?

Ahoy there fellow UKers, hello again to those I met at EdinPAX a few years ago.

I'm in Manchester and have a dearth of drinking buddies. Also there's a regular meetup of 40 or so awesome boardgamers happening in the city centre that you REALLY should be at.

Please tell me some of you can help rectify this?
