edited October 2015 in PAX Australia
We have a wide variety of organised RPGs on offer at PAX Aus, with games beginning at 11 am on each day of PAX. Everything you need is provided, so whether you're an old hand at roleplaying, or are interested in trying out something new, our GMs are ready for you to turn up and play!

An average game session will run for about 2.5 – 3 hours, so most will start at 11 am, 2 pm, 5 pm, or 8 pm. Places in each game are limited, so be sure to be on time! Places may be booked in advance, however if you are more than 10 minutes late, you may find the game already under way, and your place at the game already occupied.

For events where multiple games are listed, the game played may be selected by the group when play begins, or may have been requested ahead of time by people booking in advance ("Ooooh, I really want to play Goblin Quest on Sunday!")

Want to know more? Ask questions below, or come find us next to TableTop HQ at PAX Aus!

Shackles of Blood

I've never played any kind of DnD or tabletop RPG so I'm thoroughly looking forward to jumping in head first and checking them all out!

Ended up finding some Pathfinder games to play which was a tonne of fun but being my first pax my attention did go all over the place so i didn't get to try out as many tabletop varieties as i would have liked :( But next year for sure i will set some time aside to check out all the varieties.

Out of curiousity, how did the RPGs go with being in the tabletop hall? It seemed like acoustics would have been a formidable obstacle. I guess thats not different from most con RPGing, but thats something I haven;t really had any experience with.

Incredibly well, actually. The really, really high ceiling means that the noise of the convention centre goes up and doesn't reverberate as much as in smaller halls. We were separated a little from the rest of the convention (against the far wall), and I never had any problems hearing what was going on.

I was worried about the noise going in, but it's actually not an issue!

    Looking forward to next year!
