We just installed a whole lot of awesome on the TG site for Canadians. Flat rate shipping, plus you can pre-pay the duties on two of the more express shipping options so that shit sails through customs.
Honestly...it took us 1.5 years and change to work with all the agencies, etc to make it happen. It doesn't surprise me that other sites just go "meh". Not suggesting that's what amazon does...but...maybe they don't love you guys as much as we do.

Amazon are just cool with having satellite operations. They don't have to deal with duties and importing and shit cause they just set up amazon.ca and do it all locally. It's just bad for whatever reason.

Hey there!
I've been pretty absorbed with Fallout 4, so I didn't get back to this post.
I figure I would be a bit vain and talk about my self, and my typical day.
On days that aren't too busy, I go to work at a sign shop 8:30-5:00 pn.
While I do manage the shop and deal with customers, the majority of my time is divided between three things.
Designing new signage on a PC using adobe and corel graphic software
Creating physical signage out of banners, vinyl, metal, and magnets
Installing signage out in the field.
This can be anything from setting up some banners outside a store
to installing large lighted sign faces with a bucket truck
to wrapping a vehicle with lettering or vinyl prints
to fastening 4x8 ft metal sign boards across the outside of factory building.
If you can think of any gifts that would help with my work, I'd really appreciate it.

Hello all. Think I'll sign up this year, especially since I've just landed a new job.
Gift suggestions for Sir Fabulous
All in all, I'm pretty easy to please as far as gifts go. I play video games (3DS and PC mainly), I read books, I collect rubbish memorabilia. I don't have extensive Steam/Amazon wishlists unfortunately, so this might be a rather lengthy post:
I mostly do RPGs for games (I have a small Steam wishlist if you want to check that out Steam ID is sirfabulous), but I'm always up for new experiences in that regard.
Most of the books I read are High Fantasy/Sci-Fi (fiction) or of Zoological or Epidemiological interest (nonfiction). Modern authors whose works I have enjoyed include George R. R. Martin, Brandon Sanderson, Brent Weeks, Ursula K. Le Guin, China Mieville, Terry Pratchet, L. E. Modesitt Jr., Ann Leckie, Guy Gavriel Kay, the list goes on and on. I have a most of the books by most of those authors, so you might want to avoid exactly them, but if you have favoured authors with similar styles, or something you think might expand my sphere, go for it!
Fluffy things/figurines are things I like to collect. I have Game of Thrones figurines, Pokemon dolls and plastic toys, a stuffed Tonberry (Final Fantasy), Star Wars models, and Mario plushies. Other such collectibles in a similar vein are probably safe bets. Recent obsessions include Steven Universe and Undertale.
Also I have a thing for squids. Just. Y'know. In case that ever comes up. Not like a sexual thing! Probably! Squid things are cool too (I own the video game Splatoon).
Things that are probably best to avoid:
I have a pretty particular wardrobe, and it's quite well-stocked right now (I also know I will receive further additions to that limited wardrobe from family members this Christmas), so clothes are best avoided.
I watch few movies and even fewer TV shows, so you would have to be very lucky indeed to get me something along those lines that I've been looking for.
Like I said, I'm easy to please and want for very little overall, so I'm sure that whatever you gift, It'll be Fabulous! Mwah!
REMINDER: There is no good excuse for not using the smile.amazon.com prefix when shopping on Amazon. It will automatically donate a portion of the total sale to the charity of your choice (Child's Play, for example).
It's that simple. Make sure any links to your Amazon Wish List use the smile.amazon link. It doesn't cost anybody anything additional, and it helps people who could really use it.
Sadly, Amazon.ca doesn't have smile, which is bullshit.
Amazon.ca is basically universally garbage.
I'm always surprised hearing about how amazon is one of the biggest companies ever, but then I look at the american site and just see what you can get and it all becomes clear.
I know people who don't even go to the store except for fresh groceries. They buy everything else on Amazon for cheaper.
Hell I have prime and I've been thinking of ordering a ton of toilet paper and paper towels and non-parishables on it
I set up my smile.amazon url when it was mentioned earlier in the thread, but didn't really have the time at the moment to consider which charity I wanted to go with.
I've decided on the Innocence Project charity, which helps to exonerate people who have been wrongfully convicted of a crime and sent to prison. This is done through DNA testing (which often involves a legal battle with the prosecutor to obtain permission to perform) and subsequent litigation. The tests themselves can cost thousands. I always knew the system was bad, but it wasn't until the series of recent LWTs that I realized just how solidly things are stacked against the convicted. It's unreasonable even for the guilty; the innocent deserve every last bit of help that can be scrounged in their defense.
I'd love to read about which charities people choose to support with smile, and why they chose it. Educate me!

Hello again Satan,
Like my pappy always said if something is worth doing it's worth doing at like the last possible second.
I never really know what to say for these things. I'm a giant nerd, especially when it comes to robots (Transformers and Gundam would be among the favorites). I like comics but don't read a lot of them. I'm currently reading trades of and am probably behind on: Ms. Marvel, Squirrel Girl, Saga, Wicked + The Divine, Sex Criminals. I'm a huge Star Wars fan and haven't gotten any of the new Marvel Star Wars comics yet. I sporadically play Magic, mostly EDH. If you play I have a want list online, a super easy gift would be to raid your bulk foils and give me ones with art by Kev Walker. I have a project where I collect full playsets of every card with his art in foil. Because why do things the easy way right?
I like music a lot but still don't feel like I get exposed to new stuff enough so if you have something you love send it my way. If you want some ideas of what I like some of my favorite artists are Akira Yamaoaka, The Black Keys, Daft Punk, The Pillows, The Protomen, Run The Jewels, Death From Above 1979, Gary Clark Jr, and Justice. I also saw Benjamin Booker last weekend and am checking his album out now, I like it a lot so far. I also have tried to dabble in playing music, this year bought a bass guitar and have the a hard case, stand, strap and a really nice amp. I haven't really had time to practice recently so I may as well just start from scratch in building up my skills. I also have rocksmith on console which is a kind of helpful learning tool but if you know of something better I'd love it, some resources on musical theory would be good.
I also may be slightly obsessed with Hamilton right now.
Speaking of learning things, I recently bought a new car (well new to me, and it's more like i have it on loan from my bank but still), I'm also in the process of learning how to use that. I have a small tool set to keep in the trunk from a previous Satan but any other essentials I should have like some jumper cables, a Chemistry 101 book, etc would be a good idea.
I honestly don't read much anymore, for pleasure or otherwise. I really need to have gotten some books to help get some certs like Network+ or CCNA, or just to familiarize myself moreso with linux.
I have a lot of video games, and am currently trying to play too many (Persona 4, Halo 2, Doom 2, THPS3, and really should get back into MGSV, Super Mario Maker, and Destiny). so maybe huge experiences aren't the best bet? I still haven't played Undertale. I have all the current consoles, a PSTV and 3DS plus a PC. I feel like my PC is starting to lag behind though and need to do something about it but dunno what aside from toss a new video card in it. Which reminds me, Fallout 4 is on my steam wishlist but I would say to skip that for now as I probably just wont have time for it/the capacity to run it as well as I might like.
I think this may just be long enough, if you make something I could always use more stuff to decorate the place and am far enough off the wagon with my diet and health kick that any food items are basically guilt free! Or if you're from outside the USA I basically never travel so anything local would be nice.
Hello Satan!
Here is my Amazon wishlist: https://amzn.com/w/33K5G6FWF54QT, and my steam ID is fullfathomdeep. I play games on PC and Nintendo 3DS, but I don't have any other consoles.
I've been building a collection of tabletop games, so if you have a favorite that I don't have on my wishlist, I'd be willing to give it a try - I only have Betrayal, Elder Sign, and Pandemic. I'm into D&D too.
I'd prefer if you didn't buy me clothes, though I am totally cool with crafted things like blankets if that's your style. Also if you do art, I'm down with that! Send art!
I also like books, mostly novels, so those are cool. Also I don't mind Amazon gift cards cause I mostly buy books for kindle. That's all I can think of off the top of my head. Ask an imp to get at me if you have further questions.

Post for Satan (I'll toss this in my sig as well):
Hello. Hi! How are ya?
Thanks for signing up!
If you're looking for an Amazon wishlist here ya go. That said feel free to go off-menu, I highly encourage it even. Is there something that you make, craft, or cook? Awesome! Do you dig the sweet tunes? Kickin' mix tape would be badass. From a place that isn't where I live that has a local thing I should check out? Cooooool.
Some more information about me: I dig cooking a bunch and am actually pretty damn good at it. Things that help further that are awesome. I'm also really into cocktails, both the drinking of them and the making of them. Gin and tequila tend to be my staples for the warmer months, whiskey of all kinds and varieties are where I lean in the winter. Rum? Never a bad time for rum.
Let's see...I ride a motorcycle whenever I can, travel a bunch for work (and some for fun) so stuff that makes that more awesome would be...awesome, wear an XL is most things, have two cats (Bacchus and Tepoz). I own a PS4 and a gaming PC as well! Right now I'm playing through Dragon Age Inquisition, then onto Shadows of Mordor, The Last of Us will also get finished up at some point...what else should I be playing? I have more boardgames than I have the ability to play, but if you've got something I should have, let me know.
I can keep going, but eh. If you want to talk to a few people on the boards to learn a bit more about me I'd recommend the following folks - CrackedLens (if you can find him), Sassori, Tynic, Usagi, and Grey Ghost.

If you haven't included your wishlist post or a link to a wishlist, please do so now. I can't start sending out matches until I have at least some sort of wishlist or suggestion for each perosn.
