funny thing in the Warpriest challenge last night, somebody in the group lost connection, so we all just decided to wipe
and for some reason it was the one time i didn't die stupidly. i wasn't even dying
so, i exasperatedly said, "Hey, seriously, just kill me!"
I am completely out of exotic shards, and 3oC has been giving me fuckall lately. What happened to upgraded exotics giving 2 shards instead of one? Is that completely gone, or is it just stupid uncommon now?
Uncommon. I always forget that its a thing and will be pleasantly surprised when I get 2
I'm pretty sure that the last update/patch from November made getting 2 from a fully leveled exotic guaranteed again.
Best way to do it is to pop a heavy telemetry, buy a truth from the kiosk, dump motes to max it out (should be 6-7), then shard. Will cost 2500 glimmer each time as well, obviously

Once I get bored enough to farm up the mats for the void and arc swords I'll do that one with you.
I solo'd undying mind. Was not bad at all. Final boss just practice the time honored art of running away and use heavy/super liberally on the adds. I actually didn't realize it was a strike at all until I got to the end, since it was a PS4 exclusive previously.

Sleeper Simulant is Fallen Saber at 280 - Epic difficulty. While there is matchmaking, there's no guarantee it will find anyone who is also doing it. Late in the cycle there might not be anyone else trying it, at which point you will have to try to solo it, and that's not likely. I'm sure not impossible, but it was beyond me.

i just kept the 320 because i don't have a 320 anything and used the other two to infuse my Silence of A'arn that i like so much even though it fires pretty slowly
it went from like 302 to 317 using the 310 and 319 to infuse it

You get both rolls on their respective loot tables by doing HM first.
Any idea when the Sleeper Simulant mission will come back? Was gone for the earlier opportunity.
Not sure how I feel about these time based quests. I think anything more then a couple weeks is kind of lame.
Probably December 7th; the previous two instances were October 7 and November 7, and Bungie has this thing about the number 7.
EDIT: And yes, I agree: a month between instances of it popping up is total bullshit.
