i had very few problems with the netcode all weekend, like countable on one hand

but it does drive me nuts when it starts to do the camera shift for one of the command grabs and then the game changes its mind and I get hit because internet

So I think after the beta this weekend I may be a...man, this is hard to admit...I may be a dirty Cammy player.

Playing her, and being offensive and applying pressure, was the most fun I had this weekend. I still love Ryu and my shoto's, but I think Cammy may be my main in SF5. At least until Akuma gets added at some point

Some people are saying you can't combo off Irish whip midscreen anymore, but some are saying you can. Didn't test it, haven't seen any video. Don't know for sure.

well, modded sanwa buttons onto a "why didn't I just get a new case" Madcatz SE with a sanwa stick and a PS360+. Turns out actual buttons are a bit too big for the holes and have to be sanded down to fit, go figure. Experimenting with brook converters for xbox one, in the interim will learn how to solder to re-enable the home button and maybe make some xbone padhack modules that definitely won't fit in the tiny, tiny case

I went to a local meetup today. It was just casuals at a bar, since the organizer knew the owners and was trying to get a weekly thing started to bring people in on a slow day of the week. I had a lot of fun and had a nice winning streak with Honda. Also lost a ton of matches against one guy but he was really helpful the whole time.

Being able to ask people what happened when I lose in person is fantastic. It also feels really good to get those questions when you're winning.

The visual style is the antithesis of everything that made the series cool in the first place.
The roster is a tiny, sad mockery of the last couple iterations and the mechanics are a huge step backwards.

It's like they made a Guilty Gear game to sell Blazblue & Persona.

I think the only thing I heard was that yrc was used too much, but I think they fixed that in revalator?

I should still buy that dang game, I am just worried playing anyone here will feel awful and then I wont have a reason to own it
