Look, if anybody still wants to dispute the science around climate change, have at it. You'll be pretty lonely, because you'll be debating our military, most of America's business leaders, the majority of the American people, almost the entire scientific community, and 200 nations around the world who agree it's a problem and intend to solve it.

I like that he explicitly called out the cynical "politics don't really matter, maaaaaan" crowd, but those guys are shielded by so much snark that, even if they were watching, it wouldn't do them any good to hear it.
I believe him when he says that the divisiveness is the biggest regret of his terms in office. The sincerest parts of his speech are those still talking about coming together for the betterment of all.
He had some good lines, but I expected something more concrete on criminal justice reform, especially since he bothered to fly that Republican mayor/criminal justice reform advocate out and sit him beside FLOTUS.
Also no mention of the attacks on reproductive rights/planned parenthood stuff felt like a missed opportunity. Maybe he felt it would be gauche since the case is headed to the supreme court soon?
There was way more "RAH RAH DRONE STRIKES TPP BIGGEST GLOBAL MILITARY" than I'm comfortable with, especially coming from a President whose policies I generally agree with, but overall I thought that went really well.
I wish he'd addressed gun violence more, and that he'd gone into more detail on abuses of police power (which was a problem last year too), but it's refreshing to see Obama get on the pulpit and have the nerve to say "You know what? I did a good job. I did a good job, and I couldn't care less if you agree or not."
