I use Pale Moon as my browser of choice on desktop. It appears with the upgrade to Pale Moon 26 the forums no longer recognize my browser as a desktop browser instead of a mobile one. I can manually change my user-agent to work around this. While I recognize this is a request, it'd be cool if the forums detected browser features in an user-agent agnostic way.

Looks like it might be related to this.
They forked Gecko for PM26, so they're sending a more "honest" user-agent string now I think even if you have "Firefox Compatibility Mode" turned on. I changed the user-agent just for this site and that fixed it.
Edit: ah, figured it out. about:config, and then search general.useragent.override and add a line for the PA Forums that looks like some of the examples they have pre-loaded in there.
