    Durty Nelly's is my kind of jam. I'd go broke if I lived by this.

    Also the tabletop publishing panel was a real eye opener. Lots to stop and think about now.

    Got a text 45 minutes ago that my mom was in a car accident, while I was on my way to dinner. I guess my brain can't process 3 things at once, because trying to navigate, keep from falling in the river, and keep from completely losing my shit, all at once, meant that navigating dropped off the mental priority queue. I circled the looping part of the riverwalk twice without remembering where my exit ramp was.

    Anyway, further info has since arrived. She broke her wrist, but that's it. Three other cars were involved though, and two of them look really bad.

    Further update: The driver of the car that instigated the whole mess has died. He was drinking, and swerved into the opposite lane. The driver and passenger of the car he hit are both in critical condition. The driver who swerved to miss the first driver, and hit my mom's car in the process, also only had minor injuries.
