I'm listening to a State Legislature committee about a smoking bill that includes vaping; a vaper phoned in for public testimony and went on about how it's healthier and therefore shouldn't be included and also how there's not a lot of research so banning it now would be preemptive.
And right in the middle of his testimony, he lets out a gigiantic wet cough.
Heh, that just gave me an idea; how about a "stealth ban" option for forums where you can keep posting, but only other stealth banned people can see those posts.

Timestamps got fucked up somehow so responses would seem to come before the statements they responded to, and all other kinds of chaos
Since it was happening in the Watchmen thread everyone made tachyon jokes and intentionally played into the bug to keep the conversations as glitched as possible and kept posting the same image of like, Tobias from Arrested Development as Dr. Manhattan, or something
It was incredibly ill-advised and a bunch of people got infracted or banned
I want The Division's setting but, like, a management sim kind of thing. You're in control of the JTF and building up the base and sending squads out on recon and to support medical teams and whatnot. Like xcom maybe, but with the tactical layer being the focus and where you spend most of your time instead of the squad combat layer.
Because I do like the setting. The mechanics of it though mean you're not actually engaging with it in any meaningful way. Your entire contribution to solving the problem is shooting dudes.
