He, considering going to the Toronto Comic Arts Festival. It solves the problem I usually have with cons and the like by being free.
You totally should. I've gone the past 2 years, it's pretty cool. It's nice to be able to chat at artists you like in person. And to be able to by lots of books.

Yeah, even though my father would probably be happy to fly me up and let me stay with him, I still don't think I could afford to go to TCAF again this year.
Something I've been wondering about KILL SIX BILLION DEMONS. The magic everyone uses, has its nature been stated? I mean, is it basically the same power and spells everyone uses in their own way, like say in Harry Potter. Or is it that everyone gets their own personalized set of magical abilities, like Naruto or The Last Airbender?
I think all three of those examples have a universal magic system, different people just happen to specialize in using it in different ways, as is convenient to the author for differentiating the significant characters.

It's buried in allegory in the text updates; all that stuff about the different colours of fire. And it seems the K6BD multiverse operates on the magic≡life principle, that the thing which makes living beings different to inanimate matter is magic. Or at least a part of one of the many forms magic takes.

Hmm, that I remember.
So is she using plant magic because it's her color of fire or because it's her personal style?
even just as it is, it is interesting. Maybe not ideal for comics where you want to clearly convey characters and what they're doing, but it's aesthetically pleasing to look at in a way that comic is normally not for me.
Anyone else get a power rangers vibe from this? Just me? Okay.
Any webcomics come out with games besides Penny Arcade? I know Girl Genius had a mobile game, and they combo'd with Gunnerkrieg Court for a card game. Anyone I missed?
I dunno what's so great about the heart monster, it's like a bear, we got better weapons than bears already, plus this bear comes with a smartalecky kid
It's interesting that the suit lady outright names Nancy as a company asset.
Edit: She's got a pretty good villain vibe too, I wouldn't mind this being the start of some 8-month campaign chapter in MP.

A magician gives you a ring that, when worn, will let you see the world as it truly is.
However, the ring will never leave your finger, and you will be unable to ever describe to another living person what you see.

Order of the Stick has got a board game. It does a good job of tying the fluff and the game together but it can be a bit of a slog since games tend to run long.

Dead of Winter was a pretty hyped board game a couple of years ago but does it really has something to do with the comic...? Sure, similar name and zombos but the tonal difference and such makes me dubious. Never heard a reference to the comic in any game material or advertisement either.

What... what's that thing going on with his face?
Did RFilyaw draw his mouth upside down somehow?
I'm scared.

Chapter break is done in Stand Still Stay Silent
Yeah maybe if they'd have used pencil that would have worked out.

North World: Epic of Conrad ran as a webcomic in 2007-2008. The original webcomic site is now down, but the comic is available on the author's website. It has also been published by Oni Press as a paperback
