I hope we end up with a motion picture based on classic epic video game Snake. Possibly the only game to rival Tetris in number-of-thing-ported-to.

    They could do Clue. Again.

But only if they keep the thing where different theaters got entirely different endings.

BFG, to me, has always meant, you know, the BFG, like from Doom and Quake

So when I saw that trailer and they revealed the title I was just like "holy shit"

The planned Clue remake/reboot is in development hell after being announced in 2011.

DVDs are cheaper than Blu ray and are just as good for 95% of all movies.

I have a cheap TV and don't really give a shit about resolution. How many pixels do you really need to see some dudes talk to some other dudes or whatever?

My issue with DVD is that the audio sounds muddled in comparison.

I notice that more than picture quality most of the time.

Satoshi Kon's films really deserve the Criterion treatment.

It's looking less and less likely Kon's unfinished film will ever get completed sadly.

    I'M NOT FINISHED WITH YOU!!!

They'll greenlight a movie about stacking blocks but won't cast an Asian lead actress.

But that's none of my business.

Damn good time to be drinking some Lipton.

Paul Reubens was the original voice for Roger in the test footage, too. Another interesting "what if...?"
And Tim Curry was considered for Judge Doom!

Anyway as much as I love Terry Gilliam, Tim Curry, Paul Reubens etc... Who Framed Roger Rabbit? is, like, a perfect movie so I would not wish a single change

I don't know how long I've had this in my head, but Maniac Cop and Psycho Cop were the same movie in my head. I just cleared it up with a visit to youtube.

The 80's were a weird time for film.

Yeah...sorry but I think its in the necromonicon somewhere that a trilogy of tetris movies would be the seventh sign of the coming of C'thulu.

Only before they announced the talent behind it

And even then, Legos at least have character and personality and settings and whatnot that have been used to make narratives even before The Lego Movie

Tetris is devoid of any of that. It is just puzzle blocks and a catchy song. That is the whole of it.

The concept of a Tetris film is inextricably linked to the Battleship film in my mind for some reason

Tetris is going to be a 3 hour black and white drama about the Cold War.
