However, I'd rather he be the inaugural champion of whatever new World title they form, whether it be the Big Gold Belt again or a completely new thing. Personally I hope for a new title because Kevin Owens as the start of the lineage would be great.
Why is allowing the Club in even on the table
What tension is there that AJ would ever take that deal anyway
By signing the "/w the Club" contract AJ is essentially admitting he can't beat Cena clean, and that he's going to have the Club interfere somehow, his victory will forever be tainted and he won't gain any credit for a "real" win over Cena.
If he signs the "no Club" contract, which he did, he's agreeing to no Club at ringside, it'll be him and Cena, one on one, better man wins.

A friend of mine has tried to get me to go to that live for the past 3 years (the entirety that we have known each other) because he doesn't want to go alone and I keep turning him down.
The only other year he went was when Nick Gage was helicoptered out of there.

Cena is basically taunting him, saying "admit you can't beat on me for real" and AJ gritted his teeth and wouldn't do that.
