So, going through another Mass Effect playthrough, and I just picked up Liara. With age and perpspective I can now clearly see why my younger self zeroed in on those lovely blues. It's so blatant that I'm not sure how I didn't see it before; I can see clearly now. How could I be so easily manipulated? It's embarrassing, I tell you what.

there are sprays you can just spray in the area and they will kill shit
usually you have to get like insect-specific kinds though, but i assume one targeted at moths would do
i did some filling of my empty cabinets tonight. got some fats- butter, grapeseed oil, olive oil, sesame i think. got some spices. got a whole bunch of western condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayo, worcestershire etc), got a bunch of asian sauces and condiments (soy, fish, oyster, hoisin, gochujang etc)
noice to have stuff well stocked

It's meant to be buffer time. Speed runs can go pretty long (ironically) and the event is almost always running behind at some point. It helps stay on track so people who are tuning in at a specific time to watch a certain game can be reasonably sure that the time will be accurate.

But sometimes you have a Half Life 2 run where the guy messes up the bucket trick for 20 minutes, or a Zelda run where the RNG doesn't give the dude a seed for 45 minutes, or whatever the case may be.
I also wouldn't be surprised if it's a pain to switch between actual consoles or virtual consoles for new and old games.
I'm not an organizer or anything, but as annoying as the long breaks are, I figure there's probably a decent reason for them.
