I want to plan a US trip sometime in, like, the next 12 months
Something I can bus / single flight to would be idea
And somewhere where I didn't need to book months ahead, because I am a narwhal of whims
Where in Canada are you living? Toronto area still?
Greater metropolitan area, yep. My meandering ain't got the same gumption it used to. Now I jusf settle down near highly-regarded mental hospitals. >_>
I drove up to Toronto from Chicago a couple years ago. It's about a 10 hour drive. I imagine the bus ride would be longer, but maybe not by much? A train would probably be shorter or perhaps the same amount of time.
Toronto and Chicago both have large international airports, so I'm sure you could get a non-stop flight here.
Just sayin'.

But then she'll also just be like, aggressively ignorant, and she's never really given a chance to grow out of it or reconsider anything. To go through her romance you basically just have to agree to enable all of her worst qualities and go along with it, even while in every other plot dialogue you're always going to take your duties very seriously.
There's a bunch of things that are really interesting ideas, like how she's totally a self-loathing elf, or those weird hints you get that there's something up with her and like her skill with a bow and stuff, or her religious views, but none of them are ever really explored or challenged.
It makes me think that she's going to be featured in later games tbh
A trap is for fish: when you've got the fish, you can forget the trap. A snare is for rabbits: when you've got the rabbit, you can forget the snare. Words are for meaning: when you've got the meaning, you can forget the words.

I have done Chicago once before, but it is a lovely city to visit, particularly during baseball season.
I stared into the Bean and the Bean stared back into me.
I (we) flew last time, and that'd be a fun city to do again, perhaps solo. Meet some of you Chicagdorks . Definitely on the shortlist!

Pinecone is gonna put olive oil in my hair later I'm hype
i actually really like how isabela is written in da2
she has her big character moment before you even show up, when she does her big nice thing
it's that doing the nice thing just toally shits on her life, so from then on her propensity toward, and possibly choosing total selfishness actually feels pretty reasonable, but so does the redemption arc, since she already demonstrated that she can make the choice to personally sacrifice to do the the right thing
it's a very not bombastic, but elegant way to handle her character, i think

tell him to keep the hob on low
olive oil has a low smoke point
I discovered it last night!
EDIT: I always cook with olive oil, but I guess my condo being 8-10 degrees warmer than normal actually significantly changes how fast a frying pan heats up.

Skippy suggested I babysit his kids and move to Eugene and I said um but then I'd be having like 0 sex (( and then he was like
"there are plenty of hippy boys with pinecones in their hair in Eugene" and I was like "I like my pinecone boy just fine" and here we are today
I'd love it if you took a look at my art and my PATREON!
Filet, yam, and corn were great success.
Feels good to relax today.
Oh that last part is neat!
I am iffy on doing NYC (due to $$$$$ mostly), but that's why this trip has so much planning time.
Plus I'm resourceful, things only cost money if you let them cost money.

A lot of life is ignoring what other people are telling you you should be doing
No shirts no shoes no service is unconstitutional probably!
