If Ivanka were running for president instead of her father I'd be slightly impressed for who the Republicans chose. She's actually coming across as reasonable, moderate and has good oratory skills...which is something we haven't seen in this entire convention.
What are the chances of Trump almost immediately throwing all this under the bus as soon as it gets any resistance from the base? Granted, it is all so vague it could mean a ton of meaningless pablum.
About the only positive-sounding speech of the entire convention. Why the hell isn't she running? Can't wait to see how her father fucks this up following her.

This is kind of a problem. Mood whiplash is a thing here. Going from talking about him in an inspiring way to him being a prophet of doom who doesn't appear to give a shit about any of that stuff.
