The pin's been revealed. I really like it, but apparently most other people don't?

They really didn't want The Witcher or or Cronos to be the latest terrible pins, so they went big with the AUS early bird pin.

To all the people that misunderstood the first time I said the Witcher pin looked like shit, that has nothing to do with value. Yes, people will still pay $50-80 for this pin, because they have problems. Doesn't make the pin look good.

It looks like an old school 80s tourist memorabilia pin that you would get to remember your trip to the places you viseted on your vacation I like it.

Certainly doesn't scream "Australia". In fact, it seems to scream "Grand Canyon" if anything, IMO. Disappointed.

I'm going with it, I think it looks like an escarpment, and we do have plenty of those :)

Well, if you wanna be logical and level-headed about it... I still think it could be an escarpment from anywhere :P

I've never been to Australia, but I can affirm the pin would work just fine for PAX AZ.

I am in the 'likes the pin' camp. It'll be a cool little bonus souvenir for my weekend.

I'd consider it cool as a souvenir pin.

Definitely can understand those underwhelmed by the aesthetics though.

Having just spent time driving around Arizona, the pin artwork looks like the Vermillion Cliffs with condor flying overhead. This is not a bad thing (that part of the world is beautiful) and it's a nice looking pin but it doesn't seem very Australian to me.

Yeah no problem with the pin aesthetic itself, just would have liked something more aus. 12 apostles or something rather than a generic escarpment

In America we have to claw to get PAX badges. In AUS they have to dangle a carrot.

You can always go to South.

Yeah, It could be a lot of places around the southern USA. Utah or Arizona. There are places like this in Australia too, although the birds would be on fire.

Im waiting two weeks after PAX Aus - seeing what a fair price will be based on the average, and then my pinpals get first dibs.

I would assume an email to info@paxaustralia.com.au would be another good step.
