    Hello!

Welcome! To sum up so far, we had some pedants argue over the Oxford comma, then whether voting people out is useful, then insanity powers.

And nighttime we had a mini Dnd adventure.

    It's been days. Days

It looks like Chamberlain is insane.
Also a possibility that I'm insane I guess.

That is weird because I got Sane from him last night.

There is probably a logical way to sort out which one of us is actually insane.
    Hmmm....

When gems or precious metals are placed in the chamber they are Magically incinerated. When the equivalent of 10gp is placed in the hammer it gains the flaming property for one hour. When 1000gp is placed in the chamber it gains the prior abilities along with Flaming Burst. When 10,000gp is placed in the chamber the hammers bonus increases to +5 and gains the Dragon's Bane property for one minute.

Nah. One is insane and the other sane.
And if the mafia does have one, they wouldn't necessarily want to announce in thread.

And I doubt they'd target the amulet holder and then announce.
Seems like a great way to get what happened between GG and 38th to happen.

Personally, I think the mafia targetted chamberlain with the lifelink ability rather than either of the insanity seers.
Seems like a reasonable way to get around the amulet.

Well, if they knew that chamberlain had the amulet and that they weren't going to kill him, then they could expect the rest of the village to use their powers analysing him last night.
I don't see there being much reason for them to analyse chamberlain also and then announce the result in thread if they could reasonably expect a villager to do the exact same thing.

I mean I suppose they could do so just to use their sanity seer power like a villager would.
But then someone lifelinked chamberlain as well, possibly killing him if the power owner died.
I wouldn't think the mafia would target him twice like that.

    Exactly, so they lifelink corvidae

    Person A->corvidae->Person B

Then they kill person B, corvidae dies, then person A dies.

Oh wait you're saying their ability is if they die, the other person dies, so a reverse corvidae.

I'm going to drop a vote on WACriminal due to him signing out of this madness on day 1 and not as of yet asking for a replacement. Or talking again really.

Whilst the game seems confusing and rather intimidating due to the lack of death colours, we need people to stay engaged and hope the mess of powers works something out eventually.
I mean, I at least think today has been at least somewhat informative with the conflicting seers, the puppet powers and the bad narration dreams.

    meh.

i don't think it's confusing or intimidating, i think ppl have checked out due to a lack of ability to influence anything. plus it's the weekend.

and i'll be real suprised if we get enough votes to execute someone.

and honestly, if we don't learn anything by doing so, we are wasting our time voting.

Either I was wrong about there being multiple very specific death seers (and am insane) or there are an no one else is coming forward, which seems odd for a game where the village cannot communicate via PMs.

I suggest one of the sanity seers, preferably the one who said I was crazy.

Holy shit there is a lot to catch up on. We are still doing renovations today so I don't have time to re-read the end of Day 1 so can someone please sum up the claims? I missed exactly what "insane" was supposed to mean as well as Corv's claimed power/connection. And what is the lifelink think people are talking about?

I'll have time when I return to work on Monday (or possibly when my parents leave on Sunday) but if I'm not mistaken that will be after Day 2 completes so not that helpful.

I did seem to get that GG and 38th are both claiming "insanity seer" and both have different results for the same target (chamberlain). And chamberlain has claimed to know when "the werewolf" dies.

Sorry for the "play the game for me post". I wasn't expecting this complicated of a game to line up with my reno weekend.

Corv is half a lover pair.
She is able to PM her lover and her lover knows her alignment. Corv however dies when her lover dies although the reverse is not true.
Corv has claimed that her lover is another death seer.

Chamberlain claimed to have been made a puppet last night, where if the puppet master dies, he dies too.
This is what I've been calling the lifelink.

The sanity seers are supposed to see if a person has the powers the person thinks they do.
If the person is insane, then their role PM is lying to them.

Corvidae has already confirmed that her lover is a death seer.
I don't think that presenting extra death seers to the mafia is a particularly good idea.

She should be able to confirm whether her lover's power is also so specific.
