I could be up for this - as I am boardgame teaching for the event I'll be at the convention centre learning new games most of Thursday afternoon - I should be able to get out for then
If one has to work late and may not arrive at the dinner table at a reasonable time - could one still come for a casual drink and some pinning?
Absolutely, I'm trying to work that out.
If we book it at a restaurant we will need to leave after dinner. (Booooo)
As a result I am going to see if we can get something similar to last year, (Where we could stay as long as we liked) and people can just order dinner off a menu when they want to. (So its not a everybody sits down and eats at the same time affair)
However, I will make sure we have normal sized tables and is wheel and its pram accessible.
I'll have a venue sorted hopefully by tomorrow.

I have been able to get a large group booking for Gasolina.
Unlike last year we will not be on the large tall bench / bar side.
We will be on the dinning/table side, so that should make it better for accessibility.
For those who did not attend last year it's on the South Wharf Promenade (Called the PAX Promenade during PAX) and 2-3min walk from the Convention Center

I was talking to my RL friends who are also attending PAX and they are interested in joining for dinner as well. Is there a PIN ONLY policy or can the non-converted join as well?

But that was before I checked the forums.
They seemed pretty cool about going to 40.
Add them to the list! Just teach them the secret pinny hand shake first.
