The Multiplayer everyone knows and used to love is largely unchanged from the more recent entries in the series, but I feel like there's less emphasis on boosting and wallrunning. It's still there, but not as prevalent as BLOPS 3, so that's good IMO. Rigs are the new Specialists. They have the character unique abilities, but lack the personalities the Specialists had. Each Rig gets a bonus perk in the form of a trait, though.
Also, $20 extra nets you the version of the game that has Modern Warfare Remastered! MWR is really cool, but think long and hard about how Modern Warfare actually was before you buy/play it. The reality probably wont mesh with your nostalgia. That's not to say MW is bad, it just has a lot more bullshit than you probably remember.
So... yeah, CoD! Yay!
(I'm open to suggestions as to what I should add to make this OP not stupid!)

If CoD dropped multiplayer, I would have never purchased any CoD after CoD4 and I doubt I'm the only one.
Multiplayer is what moves CoD units.

I think he meant that he wants the Jackal combat sections to be turned into their own fleshed out game with more of a singleplayer focus.
This is precisely what I meant. It should be its own IP. CoD should keep its MP focus; that's kind of its thing!

I was unaware that's how the shotgun sight worked. Interesting! This dude is trying to make a mountain out of a molehill, though. Seems like it doesnt give you any extra range or anything. A non-bot player is most likely going to kill you with their AR before the sight locks on. Still a better idea to go with laser sight hip-fire I think.
It is still a terrible moment.

I'm on a weapon prestiging mission, too. Done it once with the ERAD, Reaver, and Type 2 now. Now my quest gets a bit rough, because I'm going to exclusively use the EMC... It's no B23R from BLOPS 2, but it is a solid pistol. I just wish that akimbo wasn't the final unlock for it =/
I would take 1000 of those over a single No Fighting in the War Room.

You can apply flechette grenades a little differently once you get a feel for the bounce pattern. Great for banking off corners for immediate doorway/hallway clearing with way less reaction time for the guy on the other side.

I also seem to always be on a team that's getting their teeth kicked in, and that just really kills my enjoyment.

All the salt I've been repressing exploded out of me this weekend. I wanted to snap the disc in half... I am not a great CoD player, but I should be doing a little better than the game allows. So many times, I get the drop on someone, only to get a thousand hit-markers and die. I'm really trying to not care about K/D and shit like that, but whatever this bullshit is just sucks the fun right out of it... Frustrating!

Ran into someone using the NV4 epic variant with the infinite damage range last night. Pretty annoying! Guess they had to make a super special NV4, though, otherwise no one would use that gun. Nope, you sure do not see too many people using the NV4 online. /bitter sarcasm
Also, God damn the Infinite Warfare campaign is so good.
Agree on the campaign. Surprising amount of feels from a CoD game!
edit: also Doritobro's video is pretty dumb with how big a deal he's making about the smartlock sight thinger. It reminds me of people complaining about the smartlock pistol in titanfall 1. Yet another fairly powerful device/attachment that you'd be dead three times before you get the kill from using the gimmick if you used the gimmick in a straight up fight. It's really only too powerful if you get the jump on your target, but in that situation you'd almost certainly have gotten the kill faster and be ready for the next target if you were trying hard with an NV4.

Aiming with anything other than the R9 feels like a waste of time with the current lineup, really. Besides, if you're close enough to use a shotgun the better option is usually just to unload on them with hipfire.
Max prestige on the type 2, and jumped from lvl 42 to 50 tonight. Might prestige and get the garand thid weekend
