Hey trainers, there's been a lot of news in the Pokeworld recently!
SUN AND MOON
The big one. Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon release this Friday November 18th worldwide... except in Europe, where it will release on November 23rd for some reason. Set in the Alola islands, SuMo will feature a whole bunch of new pokemon, new special "Z" moves, an end to the HM curse, and also "alola forms" of some beloved first-gen 'mons.

It's getting cold out there, but some people are still playing Pokemon Go! Yes, really! Newest update: DITTO IS IN THE GAME. It's apparently disguised as pidgey, rattata, or zubat, and only reveals itself if you catch it.
SE++ LEAGUE?
We may be setting up a SE++ league? Some discussion about this was floated about in the previous thread. TBA after everyone has had a chance to go through SuMo, and perhaps when the Pokemon Bank becomes compatible with it in January. Feel free to pitch the mechanics or your ideal gym setup!
Anyway, Pokemon talk goes here. As a courtesy, please spoiler leak talk up until the games' release.

- Playing through the SuMo Demo (obtainable in the eShop) gives you access to a special "Ash-Greninja" that has a special Z move
- A special Munchlax will be available for download by Mystery Gift
- Magearna will be available by QR code on the Pokemon.com website from December 5, 2016 to March 5, 2017. You must beat the game before being able to obtain it.

I never went back and beat the E4 for real in Black either, now that I think about it.

It learns Fly when it evolves.
Sun is officially the Turtle edition, which makes it clearly the best edition.
