There are two possibilities here:
1) The KGB and Freedom Fighters are two warring factions fighting for dominance.
2) The Freedom Fighters are the "bad guys" and the KGB are good guy specials.
I suspect the second one, because robothero mentioned something like that in phalla signup thread (lol metagame!), but I hope I'm wrong because that would suck.

Why do you think good guy specials here? It looks like role was revealed on death, in the squad leader's case, and the other one didn't have a designation like 'seer' or anything

I should change my belarus game so that everyone is evil except for like 2 guys and the goal is to find/kill them.
Wouldn't that just make the good guys the de facto bad guys?
yes, but we will call them good.
That was probably my favorite part of the Soviet Phalla, writing the narrations from the point of view that the bad guys (the capitalists) were actually the good guys.
You should do it, it's fun.
That's actually kind of the plan. But I don't want to reveal anything, especially since it is also Soviet themed.
Of course, as robothero said, the game may have changed.
It's probably two factions, actually. Given the chaos of the setting, that probably makes more sense than the KGB acting on behalf of the villagers.
Oh, VH, I am writing the narrations from the point of view that communism = good, capitalism = bad. It has nothing to do with any mechanics of the game. That's what I meant there :P

For pretty much the same reason that Infidel targeted me yesterday... something is just not right about our good Mr. Embarkation. He doesn't seem to be acting normal. Usually he's alot more talky than this, and he hasn't posted here very much at all.
So I'm going to have to ask, Mr Embarkation: Whats up? Why the silentness?

<--- currently loling at the irony of misspelling word when criticizing Firefox's spell checker.

More importantly, why did you quote zanmatto for this post?
Guys, you do realize that by killing the KGB we could potentially be killing our village specials.
Why do you think the KGB are good guys? I mean, isn't it just as likely the freedom fighters are? And does the fact that they both killed 2 people last night not make you doubt the veracity of either of those statements?
!vote Mr. E, he's cool, calm, collective, and so handsome. In a main phalla I'd think twice before votin' off ol' Embark, just like Oatway, so early in the game.
However this is Soviet Russia, where everything's backwards.

visiblehowl | Clarification: The game has changed since the signup thread. Your statement may or may not be correct.
Working on the narration now.
Because band wagons are the cruise control for cool.
What the hell happened? When did I join the ranks of PK, Pretentious, and Zot as day 1 kill?
Curse you!

I died serving glorious Mother Russia. I regret nothing.

Oh.
Fine.
Also, apparently, Okay isnt a word.
Firefox is full of it, it most definitely is a word.

I did, didn't I?
I quote too many posts... O.o
I died in glorious service to the motherland. It's all I could've asked for.

I can understand this. Mass effect currently has a lease-to-own on my soul.
obviously such a man deserves only the same respect he gives to all his fellow Ruskies!
Now where'd I put my hat
Good luck comrades.
I don't know what the hell the KGB is, but Freedom Fighters doesn't sound like a good faction either.
simply put: they aren't villagers; destroy them.
I speak of course, of Obbi and Rend.

If you think it is wise to vote me out go ahead. It's a waste, but I never had a bandwagon on me that would actually kill me
But I believe Zot is on to something with the !vote Obbi.

I'm likely not going to survive through tonight, but I'm going to try and figure things out today.
Zot, if you've got something to say, say it, and let me defend myself from whatever baseless accusation you have to pin on me.
