:_) I don't know how to do a happy cry emoji.

I'm still in love with the palette and style of the Darkplace.

Wait, so Brian & Seventeen knew each other before camp? Did their parents conspire together perhaps?

So do we still not know how his nose got broken?

@Ginormous: It looks like Brian had already been at the camp when Seventeen was dropped off. He was living on his own, saw the knife and had another "episode", but was brought out of it when he saw Seventeen crying.

He got his nose broke on the playground in his blackout fight in comic 384.

Briguy you were right about the seventeen and Bryan meet a couple days ago!

5th panel is where his broken nose happens. I'm guessing the blonde kid must have broken his nose since right after you see the "tree" break Brian's nose, you see Brian snap said tree branch in half and the blonde kid is the one visibly grasping his arm in the 8th panel.

I guess it's not a playground but just some kids yard now that I look back.

    Dude. Just. Dude.

You need a Harvey and an Eisner for this run.

The man in black fled across the desert, and the Gunslinger followed after him.

The last three panels got me tearing up. I couldn't imagine why anyone would want to do that to Seventeen and the sheer fact that Brian spoke in the last panel tugged at my heartstrings.

    It's Brian's backyard and that his Dad/Uncle/Caretaker.

The playground was where they stole the knife from him.

    I found the kitteh!!

had to say something to break the tension.

now, all I have to do is wait all week to see what Malachi's whirlwind of whaling has produced -- I hope he's still alive.

Hopefully Brian puts the fear of God into them. Randall was willing to take revenge on Brian for being bopped, imagine what he'd do to Malachi if he got the chance.

I would have to say that, over the course of this series, Brian jumped way up on my favorite campers list.

Since you're doing requests for high res images, I'd love wallpaper sized "We do!"...just the final frame, I just loved that response.

I say they must always be saving each other. The day they met, she saved him from his dark side. In return he guards her precious life. ;.; This is so touching.

It just dawned on me that Brian telling Seventeen that she saved her refers to the fact that finding her lost in the woods, stranded and lost and afraid, was a lighthouse in the dark that would anchor him further and further away from anger.
