OK, so I picked up Volume 1 on a whim yesterday and started playing it today. So far, I like it but I'm only about 2 hours into it. Any hints/suggestions?

    I think I'll order Vol. 2 & 3 tonight.

How much has this changed from the original set of games?

What I'm really asking is, if I really didn't like the original 4 at all (even though I played the whole way through them and all the side quest things), is it worth me getting these?

Adding to that, do the improvements in //G.U. now make the original series of games seem "unplayable?"

    Thanks for the fix.

Anyone have an answer for the question?

If you're leveling up your characters, go to an area that is 2-3 levels above your current one. You'll get more experience that way.

Yes, I can say that it might be indeed hard to go back to the original game after playing G.U.. Just a lot of improvements all around.

Looks like we may be able to expect another game in the .hack series as CC2 put up a special website for a new (and potentially storyline-bridging) .hack manga not directly connected to either the original storyline or G.U.. Called .hack//LINK, the website has this poem written on it, translation from Dothackers.

    Good morning, Kite.
    Your courage is needed again.

    Good morning, Haseo.
    Start your journey once more.
    Your fury is needed again.

    Good morning, Tokio.

Your story is finally about to begin.
It's okay if you still don't understand.
But, it seems like "they" have already set out?

    You too, start here.
Now is the time that your power is needed.

    ".hack//LINK" -The Third Revelation-

Taking place in 2020, the manga (subtitled Twilight Knights) so far involves a game-obsessed teenager named Tokio who misses his chance to take part of potentially a beta expansion/sequal to The World known as The World R:X. However, a transfer student named Ayaka Amagi (last name sound familiar?) hooks him up with a disk that sends him bound to R:X and right in the middle of a fight between what seems like two players. One of which happens to be...

Playstation 3 or Xbox 360, please!

I still need to beat Volume 3. I've barely played it. I need to go back and finish her up.

You know, we should just really cut the bullshit and make a .hack thread. Seriously.
