Identifying the song playing in the background

There's not a whole lot to go on, but I thought I'd see if anyone might happen to recognize the song, or even the artist, from the background of this video.

    Thanks again. Apparently it's a new song that starts after around 4:00, that's the Carpenters song. I don't suppose anyone recognizes the song before that?

    I took a second listen and you're right there is a bit of another song before The Carpenters one.

    Usually you can identify a song by googling a text line or two in combination with the magic word "lyrics", but the text lines I can make out are simply too generic (I kept getting a certain Frank Sinatra tune).

    So I went hunting for this, and found two other people asking this a couple years ago. They never found an answer best I can tell, But they did get a cleaner isolated clip of it.

    and a bunch of different version of that get me nothing in google, and I can't play it loud enough to shazam/soundhound it at work.

    That's awesome, thanks. Yeah, the lyrics are somewhat generic, but it was a little surprising that I couldn't find a match. The clip certainly helps, though.

    It could be a song recorded for a commercial or trailer, lots of those only exist to be a 30 second bit of backing vocals. Also I confess that I like this explanation because it is eluding my very best google-fu.

    I gave it another go and actually ended up finding this thread as the only real match. I also tried the Bing music search on my phone which actually has done well in the past, so well it sort of feels like cheating but no joy.

    Thanks to both of you (all of you). I did the same thing and tried every combination of lyrics I thought I could hear, and it was surprising to not be able to find anything. But this is helpful.
