Iron will might have been destiny.

Nope, nobody is allowed to say exactly what they contributed

At least an iron will probably come from the deck (that we now know is short on politics/leadership).

1tactic, 1 leadership if I have to draw from my set, 1 politics, 1 leadership if not.

    2 Leadership, please

    Draw Two Tactics cards

  • KorsakoviaKorsakovia technoDaleks Registered User regular
Even with Tactics 1 - Guts and Initiative, check still passes.
Re Change of Plans - I can't find anything stating whether to keep the draw within your skill set or not. I'm going to rule it as keeping within your skill set (game has instances where it specifically states you can draw outside your skill set, so the absence of that seems to indicate it must be within your skill set). If there's a ruling, or strong argument otherwise, we can amend.

Cards from Change of Plans sent.

Activate Cylon Ships Step: Activate Raiders; 2 Raiders Aft fire.
    Geth roll 2d8

    2d8 10 [2d8=4, 6]

  • KorsakoviaKorsakovia technoDaleks Registered User regular
First attack misses, second attack results in Viper Mk II damaged.

@MrBody , will need your flex draw.

  • HedgethornHedgethorn Associate Professor of Historical Hobby Horses In the Lions' DenRegistered User regular
@Korsakovia , if you're ruling that Change of Plans has to be within our skill set, I shouldn't have been given two politics cards.

I'll take 1 leadership and 1 tactics instead. Sorry for the confusion.

  • KorsakoviaKorsakovia technoDaleks Registered User regular
Missed that, my bad as well.
    Correction draw sent @Hedgethorn

    Draw Two Tactics cards

If I can only pick one Tactics, should I change my Draw?

If so, I will pick two leadership.

Hmmm....not sure what constitutes a "good" mission card. Any kind of benchmark I should be going by?

Or am I allowed to straight up say exactly what the mission card says?

A listing of all the possible missions are here, for comparison: https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/1022017/some-crisis-card-information-and-full

I've never played Daybreak before, but my understanding is that the 2 distance mission is the must-have one.

I remember that the admiral is barred from mentioning details about the destination cards picked. Does the same restriction apply the mission cards peeked at?

If not, can I ask for a quick breakdown of everyone's skill card colors?

I don't think anyone's allowed to say what their hand looks like. You can look at the normal turn draws though

What's the icon between the hand size and miracle token icons? Treachery cards?

and since treachery hands trigger on their own during a skill check, does that mean there's no risk to playing reckless cards anymore?

That icon is for Mutiny Cards.

For Reckless, one of those being in the skill check will trigger the Crisis Card's Reckless/Consequence, if its present.

While a favorable course is plotted, a Cylon Centurion is able to approach and board the vessel. In further poor luck, Starbuck's (@Phyphor ) patrol is ambushed by Cylon Raiders. While she ejects in time and is recovered, her Assault Raptor is destroyed, fragmented beyond repair.

Question, am not able to find a ruling on it.
Are non-pilots able to use the actions on Piloting Skill Cards? I know they can't pilot Vipers, but I don't see anything stated otherwise.

AFAIK yes, if they can get their hands on piloting cards and in a situation where the card text says it's playable

I did a quick check and the only condition I could find restricting any card playing is wrt cylon & treachery cards
