I am curious where the line is.
Personally I'd love grid keys, but is that going too far?
I'd also like a non-black min map at the start, so people who don't know the map could at least see where the expansions are.
Would this break the game or is this quality of life stuff for people wanting to get into the game?
Any change will have people arguing both. I suspect they'll make the bare minimum of changes personally.

Might split the playerbase, but I don't think they're overly concerned about that.
I just don't think I can hang.
There is so much to balance in the game that it help to have two people managing everything.
Is this what you are looking for?
Starcraft & Broodwar Co-op campaign
They called it 'team melee' in BW.
Path of Exile current character: Delplari
I used to play a lot of team melee, its fun! My micro is pretty bad, but I can generally macro somewhat passably
Couldn't you play as different races on the same base or something weird like that?
Yeah, it's slightly different; if you chose different races then you got workers from all the races you chose. But I played a lot of TM in Brood War in ways that were functionally identical to archon mode.

oh it definitely is. 2v2 being anything resembling balanced is just a happy side effect. which is unfortunate because i tend to find it more interesting than the way archon handles things.

Anyone want to translate that?
EDIT:
It just says http://www.starcraft.com.
Pretty lame Blizzard.
Your link is broken, fixed it in the quote above.
As a software developer and supporter of free software, I'm a bit disappointed that Blizzard hasn't open sourced their classic games and turned it over to the community. Don't get me wrong, I love how long they support things, but there was something magical about the source port scene for Doom and I'm sad we will never get that for Blizzard games.

Am I crazy, or does that thumbnail not have anything to do with the trailer?
Also like a sucker I pre-ordered for the skins...
I frankly think the SC1/BW storyline is miles, MILES better than the ridiculous SC2 teenage love drama.
I've been listening to the whole plot-line while working and it's been a lot of fun.
I had forgotten just how much of a bad-ass Tassadar and Zeratul were. Like, way way more bad-ass than what SC2 has (the only exception being General Warfield).
Even Raynor has actual cojones in this one.

Also, should be fun playing the revamped original, just for the sake of it.
For the time it was released, the fire from Stukov's lighter was some insanely next level animation. I would lose my shit every time I saw it.

I am not convienced their replacement is a good thing.
Are they being replaced? I thought the motion comic stuff was on top of that. (Speculation was that they're replacing the "talking heads" briefings.)
Either way, the original files for those cutscenes are apparently lost to the ages.
Not exactly the same as uncompressed video, I would think
How to get a RSI in 21 Days: A Practical Guide.
I wonder if any analytics have been done in terms of an "ideal" APM. Some of the really high ones are meaningless because of the high volume of pointless clicking in Starcraft 1.
In a word for me: deathballs. Two words? Anyways... Stuff was so spread out in SCBW and like Day9 was saying, it's just damned hard to get anything to do anything, and that itself makes weird, fun stuff happen. It influences strategies and gives the game depth.
I didn't get LotV because I just didn't think I'd actually have fun with it, but I wonder if SCBW HD would actually be a good buy for me. Then again I remember crying in a corner of my room at one point (I was a kid) because no matter how much I practiced I couldn't get good at SCBW, haha. Oh the "fun"!
