    This has been explored in a previous arc and it's been established that no one in the camp agrees on the current date.

    He didn't even appear in background shots from what I remember.
    In the volume 1 book there's some cool concept art of what would become Linus.
    Linus seems like an intelligent and diligent person, so I imagine he'd personally keep track of dates. He already keeps track of who has what book and for how long.

    I'd hate to see the overdue book fees at the Camp W library.

    Linus could have just known the date he was left at camp and figured it out from Braden's tally.

    Since everyone has a different idea of what the date is Linus may just believe that it's his birthday... though I expect that if anyone knew the real date it'd be him.

    Possibility exists that Linus is a star-reader.

    Maybe Linus should have a talk with Brandon. Together they could probably keep the entire Camp updated on the actual date.

    Considering the "materials" the Camp uses for just about everything, I can only say this will be one EXTREMELY lackluster party. Or it could end up in chaos. Who knows.

    He knows the date? This implies that the rest of the campers don't know what day it is because *nobody asked Linus*. He was that isolated before Malachi discovered the library.

    Wonder what else Linus knows.
