Really like the paint job on that transport. Amazing what a couple of stripes and a logo can do to make a thing pop.
I think I'd like it better without the logo? Its just a little too clean and uniform for the Rebels.
The stripes are cool though.
I see what you're saying, it is pretty smooth, but the Rebels had droids that could lay down paint. Sure, they had better uses for the droids, but some cocky captain throwing the Rebel logo there, big and loud like that? Seems like the kind of thing a nutjob that would willingly crew an outdated bulk freighter in the middle of a war zone would order his droid to do. Pretty much as close as you could get to flipping off the entire Empire.
There's a few shots from the other side where you can't see the logo and it looks good from that angle too.
I think if there was a bit of a wash or something to reduce the gloss on the logo. Maybe rough up some of the edges a bit, apply some blaster scoring or something. Just a minor touch here or there to make it look a bit more lived in.
And remember this is a nutjob who's not even trying for plausible deniability either.
Like, your average rebel transport can bluff its way through inspections and shit because it's just a common cheap-ass freighter. Half of them probably aren't even carrying anything illegal (food and other supplies like that).
There's no way they could make a panini that size, it'd take a thousand Panera Breads with more panini presses than I've ever--
Their panini's are, actually, quite sizeable. Some might disagree, but I can't exactly argue with something that almost looks like it was made at home.

Also, that bag used to have a bagel in it.

Hmm. So I worked out a way to have a Upsilon and Decimator fortress up in the corner while taking focus and target lock every turn. Not sure if good idea. I mean, it's expensive in points! (Dauntless and Systems Officer on the one, Advanced Sensors the other, and then... upgrade out the ass?).
I also considered doing it with a Lambda, and then giving a Tractor Beam to threaten anyone trying to fly small ships down the sides (since if they slip into the arc they'll get thrown off the map as a "kill").
Or to be totally ridiculous I can just do it with all three of them, I just can't afford the upgrades to get them all to double mods every turn. Upside? Fucktons of health. A total of 48 damage needed to wipe the list out.
Man if it were not so late for me I would totally do that with ya.
Sorry duder...
Luckily, with the ability to import a squad and resolve collisions with 'c', pretty much everything is done by right-clicking a thing and choosing the correct menu option.
Change dials with ',' and '.' If a dial has a ship picture on it, it's hidden. No ship picture means it's public!
Rotate ships/objects with left and right arrows
Pretty much anything else is click-and-drag or doable by the context menu. The context menu shows the shortcuts too, so you can experiment with them as you see fit.

Otherwise, learn what buttons open what windows, and where the rocks and extra tokens are (squad spawn isn't perfect).
So... 31 points gets you Deathrain with Bomblets and Lightweight. 30 for Mk II instead.
That seems fun, since with free barrel roll and then boosting he can get all over the place. Maybe just give him autothrusters for lols.
Also, I like the Mapper card. If I'm reading it right, I can use the Extra Munitions tokens with it too, though I'm unsure if I can discard a card AND its token at once. Because the hypothetical cluster grid is kind of scary.
Was looking up the TIE bomber to see how it got screwed (and ouch, maybe a title that gets it a second bomb slot in the future?) and came across this line:
The massive upgrade bars of the B-wing (left) and TIE bomber (right)
Actually the biggest news here is a PS-1 bomber generic.
That's been a long time in coming. I kinda want three.
Whooooa minefield mapper is um...
Minefield mapper can only be used on a few ships, at least. TIE Punisher can use it out of the box, and is probably the best ship to use it actually; Scurrg requires the Havoc title, so you can only have 1 mapper; the IGs can use it, but have only 1 bomb slot and no torpedo slot; rebels would mostly need Sabine crew (though they would take her anyway) because only a few ships has systems slots.
Shorty and I are going at it right now. I don't know what I'm doing.
Move 2 and Oicunn is already on a rock. Good flying mate.

Tri-Optimum reminds you that there are only one-hundred-sixty-three shopping days until Christmas. Just 1 extra work cycle twice a week will give you the spending money you need to make this holiday a very special one.
Actually, the way Minefield Mapper is worded... I don't think you have to drop cluster mine tokens as a set. You could spread them apart for more coverage.
Here is a list I found on the SA forums and a picture to demonstrate.
3x Cutlass Squadron Pilot — TIE Punisher 21
Minefield Mapper 0
Extra Munitions 2
Unguided Rockets 2
Cluster Mines 4
Cluster Mines 4
Ship Total: 33
Shorty and I just finished, Oic rammed a TAP off the space road and shot up his buddy, but couldn't save the day all by himself (being on fire and at 1 Hull) after Whisper whiffed all her evades and evaporated.

Nope. No S-loops or T-rolls either. Just.. slow and plodding. Reminds me a lot of a real-world gunship, to be honest.
The article talks about having to play around that.

Like shuttles have to play around it!
By being rarely played :P. Not as bad on a small ship for several reasons though.

Without the full stop, of course.
Rhymer, Snap Shot, Tactician, BoShek, Lightweight.
Kestal, Ion turret, lightweight
Vessery, tractor beam, TIE/D, Ion MK II
Three ships at (sort of) 3 agility, bringing every possible form of movement disruption to the table, all relatively durable.
My biggest worry is a lack of raw firepower for big ships though this way. I suppose Rhymer can fire twice per turn easily though, which helps a bit.
Could stick A Score To Settle on Kestal too to bring more attack mods into play.

I'm alive! Really!
I was just thinking about tossing out some more matchups, earlier today. I have some free time tomorrow and will get us up to date and moving along.

Wait, is there some disintegrator upgrade I don't know about?
Also, is "smeared across the bow of my flagship" acceptable? I rather like flying Oicunn.
