I'm amazed she could get the pine needles to stick.
Poor Brian. Such a good guy.

Edit: Oh! Another KS cat? So pretty.

I'm glad Seventeen was able to get Brian to finally chill out for a second.

The saddest part is that I'm so used to searching the backgrounds for hidden kitties that I completely glossed over the cat on this page.

Yes, clenching one's fists and staring straight up are sure signs of relaxation.

I guess she skipped the "acu" and we straight to "puncture."

It is the appropriate reaction to having needles shoved into you on the other hand.

Not a hard cat to find, but definitely a surprising one. Totally didn't notice it, and when I found it I wondered why I hadn't before.

Fellow intrepid readers, or I guess Katie or Adam if they want to respond, was Seventeen speaking gibberish in http://campcomic.com/comic/23 or was it actual words?
I only ask because the twins' spoke in wingding, so maybe Seventeen did, too?

Acupineture. It'll become a real thing. Wait for it.

And Briguy: Don't know what the graphics in Seventeen's monsterspeak meant, but I did notice a Deathly Hallows symbol in the mix.

Don't worry, Brian, acupuncture doesn't actually work, so the worst that can happen is that you get an infection from dirty pine needles being stuck into your body! It's not like infections are lethal this far from civilization and first aid or anything.

@Jachra Actually, we are trained in military medicine in an acupuncture technique called "Battlefield Acupuncture," developed by the Army and the Air Force (no shit), and the study I was taught showed it was more effective for chronic pain than standard pain medications (which only had a 50-60 percent relief rate). So some acupuncture DOES work.

It also has side effects, like fainting, weird feelings of euphoria, and you can't exercise too hard or drink alcohol for the day after. But it works.

Cool. I don't know how I missed that!
I wonder if any of the other symbols are references to things.
The first one kind of reminds me of a stylized Bill Cypher, but I'm pretty sure the comic predates his appearance.
