Not to be confused with Greg Killmaster, who is an actual guy that works for ILM.

I feel like this issue should really present more of a problem for tycho, situated as it is between his twin impulses to bag on stuff for being ridiculous and staying true to the ridiculous source material

@Commander Zoom Reading the strip, I thought to myself, "only in comics do characters have such ridiculous names as 'Killmonger,'" then immediately thought, "OK, well, there's Greg Killmaster..."
Glad I'm not the only one who went there.

There's also Slaughter as a real world last name.

To be super pedantic his parents named him N'Jadaka and he changed his name to Killmonger when he was a teenager or something.

Lead singer was Mark Slaughter. I bought that album the day it came out, on cassette of course, just for the cover. It was pretty good.

Laugh all you want, but somewhere in the world there's a guy whose actual name is Rad Heroman, and he's a Marine. You can look it up.

Click on the comic, then click to show it non-shrunk if your browser is doing a fit-to-window. Very little aliasing other than what jpg does to you.

That might have been a naming pun.

If not it should have been.

Ironically, there's a pro wrestler who's real name is Richard BLOOD, and they didnt even make him a bad guy! He worked most of his career as a good guy under the name Ricky Steamboat.
